What is our primary use case?
I have performed collections of seized phones with law enforcement authorities. I have also worked on internal company fraud cases where phones were used to commit fraud, and identified conversations with instant messaging applications.
Regarding the main use case, there was a case where I used the tool to extract information on contacts and account information from digital applications, and then externally I performed a concatenation. From this extraction, I was able to identify the fraudster who kept in contact with several people to the point that I identified the location where he operated.
What is most valuable?
Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform is one of the biggest tools I have ever used. I am CCO and CCPA certified by Cellebrite, and I took the courses with the manufacturer in Brazil. It has helped precisely in the agile way it works when I am in the field. There are many products available, but I really appreciate working both in the field and in the lab, and it helps me tremendously in the identification, particularly in the pre-identification of suspects on the phone. Even before I look for something, it already performs a pre-analysis and brings me what I need to suspect in order to understand the case.
I really appreciate working in the lab using Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform. The gain in the lab is very fast. It is very easy to use, and the user experience is truly excellent. It is very intuitive, making day-to-day work with it an easily accessible tool.
Regarding ease of use, the image and video identification features of Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform are, for me, the best because it performs an analysis of the device as a whole and separates video, image, audio, and conversations. It can cross-reference where each one would be stored, which is really valuable for those conducting the analysis.
What needs improvement?
I believe Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform could enhance only the pricing.
The necessary improvement is just the cost, as we are talking about hardware, and I believe it is still a tool with a high cost for day-to-day examiners.

The scalability of Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform is not great because a different phone comes out every day, so they have to update constantly. Scalability is somewhat difficult for me because of that, but having an organizational chart related to this support will help resolve this over time.

How was the initial setup?
The tool helped tremendously with agility. In the past, or with other tools, I needed many adapters and many cables because each model was different. Cellebrite, while it has a range of adapters, keeps updating itself every day. Having equipment with a kit of adapters and cables and these updates as new versions are created is the best for me.
What was our ROI?
In terms of return on investment, I have seen it mainly in saved time due to collection. The data collection is much faster with Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform, but I have not experienced the same with other options.

My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing was that the setup for me was very simple because I handled that part. Licensing was managed by the company I worked for, and it was not an extremely expensive tool. However, it was not a cheap tool either.

Before choosing Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform, I evaluated other options, including
XRY itself, which I not only worked on during pre-sales but also used in my day-to-day work.

My advice to others thinking about using Cellebrite Digital Intelligence Platform is to seek out certifications to get the most out of the tool. After that, pursue more knowledge to delve deeper into this field because it is not just about clicking buttons; you have to understand the context as a whole. I gave this product a rating of ten out of ten.
