We tested the solution's software delivery capability during POC and got good results. We tested it in collaboration with McAfee, and it was very good. Apart from that, Adaptiva supports many other features, like driver updates and third-party updates. However, we couldn't test them during our POC because those capabilities were unavailable. We will definitely validate those capabilities within our production rollout.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
Adaptiva is really good in terms of content delivery and network bandwidth optimization. The most valuable feature of the solution is the network bandwidth optimization.
What needs improvement?
We had to install one server in our infrastructure at the data center. It would be good if Adaptiva had everything on the cloud rather than having one server on-premises. The solution's user interface on the web portal is very old.
For how long have I used the solution?
We completed the solution's POC last year and are in a phase of production rollouts.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I rate the solution eight and a half out of ten for stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We did a POC with around 1,000 users and are going for 2,000 in production. If we get successful results from the pilot production, we will have around 23,000 users for the solution.
How was the initial setup?
The solution's initial setup was straightforward.
What about the implementation team?
The solution's production rollout took around two months. We have already decommissioned the POC environment and would need to create the production servers.
What other advice do I have?
Using Adaptiva is really straightforward. Users need to have some end-user computing and networking knowledge to use the solution. The project or implementation team we worked with had good technical knowledge. I really liked the solution's performance. Adaptiva helped us with network bandwidth optimization and content delivery.
Overall, I rate the solution eight and a half out of ten.
