We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"QlikView is a scalable solution that multiple users can easily use.""I had the option to prepare data myself instead of always having to depend on the data team.""One of the good thing is that you can integrate different data source technologies. So you can model your environment without having any of our views running.""The initial setup is not very complex.""The language support is very good.""It enables us to configure various elements, such as dashboard settings, including factors like color schemes and other customization parameters.""Once you open it up, you see everything that you can do.""If you correctly use the product for your use cases, it provides value for money."

"Transparency is the most valuable feature of this solution.""The fact that the solution is visually appealing because of its lightning interfaces can be considered one of its most valuable features""It is a comprehensive solution. It has everything in it. I can easily find what I need.""The most valuable features of Salesforce Einstein Analytics are the flexibility around the deployment, overall capabilities, user-friendliness, and interactiveness with the tools that came built with it.""The out-of-the-box features are good for companies that want to try analytics and data science interventions.""The solution scales extremely well.""The tool is a cloud-based solution capable of integrating any kind of data in the world.""We have found the scalability to be very good."

Cons
"It is really old. We are moving towards converting everything into a Power BI environment. We want to have a self-service type of BI environment where different levels of users in organizations can log onto a portal and retrieve the data they need or get the necessary insights for decision-making that's important for them or their business unit. They have built a new version of QlikView called QlikSense, which probably competes with newer BI tools, such as Power BI, but they are far behind. That's why we are moving towards a newer tool that's easier to use and has more visualizations to represent the data.""If a user wanted to see something not included in the application the new object had to be created by a power user or developer because Qlik view's scripting has somewhat of a learning curve.""There is no automation or drag and drop functionality.""There is a challenge on the frontend when it comes to browsing data through QlikView, as it isn't entirely compatible with other platforms we use.""QlikView certainly lacks in its ability to share visualizations or create visualizations easily.""The tool is expensive in Turkey.""Sometimes the filters are disappearing, and I'm not sure why this is happening.""There is a lack of static PDF report generation and automatic resizing of the dashboard to fit the device."

"The product is natively integrated into the Salesforce ecosystem. You also need a CRM license. It should be more flexible with other platforms.""I would advise others not to customize because they rolled out the newer versions, which are every six months. There had to be some significant testing and verification that happened. It is important to have a strong third-party provider that is very experienced. We used Deloitte, but we evaluated Accenture, KPMG, and IBM, but we decided on Deloitte and that was a good decision for us. Having a partner who has a center of excellence or experts that could give you a lot of the tips that they've learned could jumpstart your deployment and stick to the standards.""Improvement-wise, I feel the solution must be more robust since it is not exactly ready to handle large data.""Better pricing would make it available to more users and we would likely use it more broadly within the organization.""When it comes to generating reports, it appears that many users rely on experts to handle technical aspects. For instance, if you require a weekly report displaying accounts transitioning in and out of your modules, it seems challenging to accomplish without consulting experts for assistance. Such tasks should be user-friendly and easily achievable without external assistance.""Einstein Analytics could incorporate something like SFIA 8 to help users understand the underlying skill sets.""The price of Salesforce Einstein Analytics is quite a bit expensive for the region of Mexico. I think the price of the product could be better.""All of the timesheets and appraisal management I have not been happy with. There should be some improvements. For example, as a management team, our managers do not have access to see a summary report, such as who is on leave today or how many hours each person logged in. You have to get into individual users and see. You cannot see a summary report, the reporting is missing. There should improve the reports."

Top Answer:QlikView is more expensive than SAP Crystal Reports. It could be improved. I rate the pricing a five out of ten.
