Effective collaboration achieved with versatile features and good customer service
There are always improvements needed. My personal issue with using OfficeSuite and the Exchange Server is that one has to cobble together a whole bunch of different applications. Therefore, a lot of scripting and programming knowledge is necessary. I am not an IT person; I am an educator, a trainer, a user. I want to get the work done. However, I find that the Exchange Server and possibly the way our company has set up access permissions require extensive programming knowledge. It might take six to eight weeks to get a programmer's time to build something, whereas I can use something like Smartsheet that will do everything I want without needing a programmer. Smartsheet is more end-user friendly compared to a Microsoft product. Microsoft believes an expert IT person should manage everything, however, I want to manage things on my own in a simplified way. That is not easy using the Exchange Server or Microsoft Office. It is not end-user friendly for development, and a programmer is needed. Once set up, using them as an end-user is fine. I find that the automations are not robust, and the FedRAMP systems are not robust. I have a few issues with Exchange and Office, but there's nothing I can do about it.

Email triage solution that actions and handles emails based on preferences
Superhuman could be improved by being made available across a broader range of devices including Android and Windows PCs. Superhuman is also a phone app, which is available only on DiOS right now. Because it's not available on Android, you have to use Gmail for your phone, and use Superhuman for your desktop. The search feature could be improved. Currently, Gmail search is a lot more robust because you can filter results based on your requirements. Superhuman does not offer this way of searching which can make emails difficult to find.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers complete scalability and flexibility."
"Exchange Online plays a significant role in our business. It controls all our emails, so we'd be in a lot of trouble if we didn't have that. It's an essential product."
"The reliability factor is high."
"The solution is easy to use and the cloud version has taken a lot of challenges away from the user."
"Microsoft Exchange Online is easy to use. You have a common storage where people can store documents. It also helps with version control."
"The initial setup is straightforward and easy to configure."
"Tech support has been great, when necessary."
"Exchange Online's performance and stability are very good."
"The best feature about Superhuman is the fact that you don't have to manually go through your emails. This solution segregates your email according to your preferences and how you want to categorize emails."
"It is fast, and it increases your productivity."

Cons

"In terms of areas for improvement, I think Microsoft could enhance security. Right now, there are limited options for security within Exchange Online, and much of it relies on third-party security and compliance tools. I'd like to see more security features directly integrated. One specific area that needs improvement is the configuration of SMTP for third-party applications. It's challenging to manage without an on-premise SMTP server, and this is an issue many organizations face, including ours. If Microsoft could offer better SMTP configuration for third-party applications within Exchange Online, it would greatly benefit us."
"The stability of the solution on Mac products has room for improvement."
"The solution’s API integrations could be improved."
"I would like to have the option to have my electronic signature posted on my emails by default. I am able to add it manually but cannot get it by default."
"Microsoft Exchange Online could improve the overall protection of the solution."
"I would like to let new users know that there are challenges regarding user provisioning, HRMS and the AD. Also, the data migration integrity needs to be checked in terms of the old data."
"The support from the vendor is fine. However, it could be faster, and some of the agents could be more knowledgeable, but it is a large solution, there's a lot of information that the agents have to work with. I can't always expect when I get connected to the first-level agent that they will know absolutely everything. Sometimes there's no replacement for pure experience."
"It is tricky to integrate Microsoft Exchange Online if you are in an infrastructure provided by other vendors."
"Superhuman could be improved by being made available across a broader range of devices including Android and Windows PCs."
"It can have a few more integrations. As far as I know, it is being integrated with Salesforce."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is a reasonable solution."
"The pricing is a bit more expensive than other solutions."
"We have a license per user scenario."
"We have a three-year license for $25,000."
"In my opinion, the online license is the best one we have. It is a bundle that we have from Microsoft. It is a bit high in price."
"The pricing for Microsoft Exchange Online is quite reasonable, in my opinion. Many licensing options are available so that we can choose based on the customer's needs. For example, if a customer only requires mailbox features, we can recommend Plan One or Plan 2. We can suggest an E3 or E5 license if they need the entire Office suite. There are also premium subscriptions for enterprise customers, offering additional security features. Overall, I don't find the pricing costly because Microsoft provides many features and security capabilities, making it reliable for all customers, depending on their requirements."
"The pricing is based on a yearly contract and a floating license option is offered."
"The license for the solution is cheap, but it could be more affordable in the long term."
"It is fairly expensive. They have monthly and yearly licensing options."
