We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"It's quite similar to Power Optima, but I use it mainly to integrate with databases, and it works well for that purpose.""The product's most valuable feature is scalability.""The solution has plenty of good valuable features and a plethora of services.""The tool’s biggest benefit is the access we have to other Azure products.""The product’s most valuable feature is integration.""The prebuilt connectors available for SAP are really useful.""The solution is very easy for new users because it includes very good documentation and transparency.""It's very easy to use, and it's blazing fast. The best thing about Logic Apps is actually its ability to create a solution in a matter of hours. It doesn't need any kind of provisioning, and you don't need any kind of hardware. You can create very small elements like these Logic Apps, and you can build a whole solution from those very simple and small elements. I also like that they are completely incorporated with your existing active directory. You can use user groups directly from the active directory inside Azure and access it from the Logic Apps. You don't need to do anything special, and you just have access. You can just check if the user is, for example, allowed to do some action. Normally it would take you some additional steps and some additional calls to check it. You have to come back to the active directory to make this possible. In Logic Apps, you just have it, and you can use it. I think that there's this concept of logging and recall to the Logic App. It shows you every single step, every single product, and the result it's returning to the next step. It also has an amazing debugging feature. You can rerun some calls and see if, after a correction of the Logic App, for example, you get the correct results. So, it's almost like it's alive. It's like you make a change, poof it, and it's in production, and it's working. The speed of the composition of the problem and creating a real solution for it is extremely fast with this solution. It's extremely fast in creation."

"SnapLogice is a low-code development tool.""The initial setup is very straightforward.""They are very good at building out new aspects according to customer requirements.""I found SnapLogic valuable and what I found most valuable about it was its ETL feature. I also found its automation feature valuable. It can be used for automating manual activities. It can be used as a middleware for certain transactional data processing and minimal datasets and ETL activities.""The solution could improve its API management.""It's more developer-friendly, and development can be done at a faster phase.""The solution is easy to implement and easy to use. It's basically just drag and drop.""SnapLogic is a great platform for establishing integrations among various systems or patterns by using any kind of interface. If something is not supported by predefined snaps – snaps are connectors in SnapLogic – you can create them (custom snaps) or write a script."

Cons
"It's for a limited kind of application or short Apps. And, not for the complex applications.""The support I have received is mixed because in some cases they are accurate, and in others, it was me doing the groundwork and giving feedback for the agent to finally tell me there is an issue in their larger services.""An area of improvement I've encountered is related to the number of connectors available in Logic Apps. While there are many connectors, I found that the "send email" connector may not work as expected, and one has to rely on Office 365 plugins or other alternatives. This could enhance user experience, especially when considering the additional overhead and licensing requirements associated with Office 365. It also needs to improve security features.""Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could have more customization options for connectors.""The standard logic app could be simplified. Thats what we would like to see in the next release.""It would be beneficial to have less code and tighter integration between different cloud services.""The scalability could be improved.""It can be a bit challenging to use."

"The solution isn't ideal for complex processing or logic. We use another solution for that.""SnapLogic doesn't provide any on-premises software, so users have only cloud-based software to use.""They should expand in terms of features for SaaS-based market requirements in different sectors.""I would like to see more performance-related dashboards, ones that display the cost of a pipeline, for instance. Also, it would be helpful to have management dashboards for overseeing pipelines and connections.""SnapLogic sits somewhere in the middle. It doesn’t offer enough easy canned integrations for its users like some of the easier to use integration apps.""It needs some more snaps. I would like to see some of the features be changed in some of the snaps.""The support is the most important improvement they could make.""We'd like there to be more ways for users to get more comfortable and have more experience with the solution to make it easier to use."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "The cost of the solution could be cheaper."
  • "If we are comparing to other public cloud vendors, such as Amazon or Google Cloud platform, I wouldn't say that it's expensive. However, when we're comparing between a host such as GoDaddy or Digital Ocean, then it's a bit on the expensive side."
  • "It's very cheap, but it comes with pluses and minuses. The positive thing is that it's very cheap, but on the other hand, it's extremely hard to tell how much it will cost. At the start of the project, it's almost impossible to tell how many times you will be calling some kind of Logic App function. You cannot state how much of the internet transfer you will use or how much data your will use."
  • "The price of Microsoft Azure Logic Apps is inexpensive."
  • "Microsoft Azure Logic Apps could be costly if a user isn't careful. The costs associated with the solution could still be improved."
  • "The product is not cheap. I would rate the product's pricing a five out of ten."
  • "The pricing is not expensive."
  • "The pricing is okay. It's not highly priced. It's in the medium range."

  • "SnapLogic is not expensive. It's reasonably priced."
  • "The cost with SnapLogic is an annual license and better than Informatica."
  • "By scaling the solution incrementally the cost is controlled and more beneficial to the client."
  • "The license model is based on consumption."
  • "I used the free trial."
