Easy integration and workflow proposals streamline processes
The predefined connectors eliminate the need to write code for connectivity. If you have a predefined connector, it is easy to use with plug and play functionality. The processing time and ease of use are significant benefits. As everyone is moving into AI integration, it will definitely help. When creating workflows, they can propose solutions directly.

Simplified integrations bring flexibility and efficiency to diverse industries through comprehensive features and robust support
SAP is already trying to make improvements for SAP Process Orchestration by releasing updates every quarter, including patches and modules, and from a security standpoint, while it's a tightly coupled tool, they are introducing a lot of enhancements aligned with current market trends. There are standard contents readily available for starting integrations, which suit around 90% of every industry across verticals including pharma, manufacturing, and employee data central with SuccessFactors integration. Regarding functionality-wise improvements in SAP Process Orchestration, they are now incorporating the Salesforce system. Previously, we needed to rely on a third-party adapter for integration within SAP, but now they are building their own adapters to connect with Salesforce. Additionally, there are options like data connectors using Ariba coming up with SAP Process Orchestration. There's much more to explore, especially as they release new patches, enhancements, and adapters each quarter.

"The most valuable feature of Matillion ETL is the UI experience in which you can drag and drop most of the transformation."
"The loading of data is the most valuable feature of Matillion ETL."
"Compared to the likes of traditional ETLs, like Informatica, SnapLogic, and Talend, or even raw Python scripts, this product needs no improvement, as it is so much better."
"The product has a good user interface."
"It has improved the costs of managing my customer’s data."
"Give it a shot. See how easy it is to get started with the product, because the scripting which is required is minimal."
"The most valuable feature of Matillion ETL is the ETL. The solution is open-source which provides advantages, such as good performance and high efficiency. Additionally, it supports three data types which eliminates predefining the data, and we can write script models in Python."
"SAP Process Orchestration is quite flexible in supporting various integration standards and protocols, and it's fulfilling all our needs."
"SAP Process Orchestration is something that I recommend because it is a very high-quality product."
"I rate the product's setup phase a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult and ten is easy since it is a very easy process."
"With the migration into the new version, the performance has improved and our customers are pleased with this improvement."
"The initial setup was straightforward."
"The monitoring tools are the most valuable feature."

Cons

"One of the features that's in development is data privacy in the cloud, along with further SAP integration. For connectivity to SAP systems."
"While the UI is good, it could be improved in its efficiency and made easier to use."
"In the next release, we would like to have connections to more databases."
"The improvement area could be possible if the tool provides better integration capabilities with other ecosystems, including governance tools or data cataloging tools, as it is currently an area where the solution is lacking."
"There have been some issues with stability over the first year, but Matillion support is very responsive."
"Scalability in Matillion Data Productivity Cloud has some limitations. Depending on the nature of data sets, volume, and mixture of different data, the scalability could be improved as manual code writing is still required."
"It is not an end-to-end platform for ETL. To complete the pipeline, they might want to include some connectors which would put the data into different platforms."

However, SAP has released an SAP Cloud Platform Integration which has all of the features, such as API management along with process integration to replace what they had previously."
"I think the main area that SAP PO should improve on is offering pre-delivered content like they do when you use SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). SAP should not forget that they still have a lot of customers using Process Orchestration and they should focus more on providing pre-delivered content in SAP PO."
"We encounter challenges while connecting to MQTT and MQDD adapters."
"The usability, for example, is an area where it can be improved upon."

"Some configurations can be a little tricky."
