Automation has strengthened lead hygiene and reporting and drives faster sales conversions
One area for further enhancement is advanced analytics and predictive insights. While the platform provides robust reporting, deeper AI-driven recommendations such as lead conversion predictions, risk identification, and next-best-action suggestions could help the sales team prioritize opportunities more effectively. Improving user experience is another area; as organizations scale and workflows become more complex, simplifying configuration and creating more customizable dashboards could enhance adoption across business users. Additionally, expanding native integrations and reducing reliance on custom configurations for certain enterprise systems could streamline implementation further. Regarding support, I feel it should be more proactive, with spontaneous responses. Whenever I raised queries, I experienced longer wait times and had to wait for proper responses that were sometimes passed between multiple people. I believe when I ask a question, it should be assigned to the right person at the right time to reduce time consumption on both ends. LeadSquared automates many sales and marketing processes effectively, and there is an opportunity to strengthen its AI capabilities in areas such as predictive lead scoring, conversion forecasting, and next-best-action recommendations. AI-powered conversion analysis from calls, emails, and WhatsApp interactions could help identify customer intent, sentiments, and common objections, providing valuable insights for both the team and managers. For compliance and governance, a proper API should be created and integration should be structured to prevent lead leakage and data manipulation, which needs to be addressed by LeadSquared. I have noticed that it often does not provide accurate data and relies more on human intervention. When AI is integrated into any kind of software, it is expected to deliver the right outcomes and analyses. However, I have seen many cases where it provides only sixty-five to seventy percent accuracy, which I believe can be significantly improved.

Highly customizable but should have more out-of-the-box features
The product is highly customizable, but the marketing and business teams want a lot of things to be built out of the box. A lot of features that could be out of the box aren't there. The main concern is to keep the system in such a way that it provides you with some out-of-the-box features and some customizable features as well. An example would be stratification or stratified sampling of customers. It's something that is not part of the product. It's something I have built using this product. If something like this is available out of the box as part of the product, you don't have to particularly manage that. For the outbound campaigns, there should be dynamic offer or treatment assignments.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"LeadSquared is an easy tool to adopt and get going with, as it is plug and play."
"In my experience, the best features LeadSquared offers are providing transparency and more detail of the customers."
"LeadSquared as software is very good; it helps the sales organization to perform better because it helps in managing leads in a much better way."
"LeadSquared has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to manage a lot of leads we previously could not handle effectively."
"LeadSquared has helped my organization to reach out to the prospects in lesser time, and the data maintenance is 100% correct and reliable."
"LeadSquared's most valuable features are it comes equips with all the basic features of a CRM. It integrates well with our existing systems and is user-friendly."
"The ROI was multiple-fold, as I leveled up with my initial LeadSquared investment within months thanks to new nurture and lead automation campaigns driving conversions, and I previously required three team members for tasks but streamlined that to one individual, yielding significant ROI as my retention and cancellation rates improved from 12% to 27%."
"LeadSquared has positively impacted my organization by facilitating smooth communication and lead management, for which I am very grateful."
"SAP Marketing Automation is user-friendly. The interface is nice and clear. You can see the different diagrams and define various filters and targets. You can also export the customer information you collect to make the campaign. It's easy to understand how this information is entered. There are also a lot of platforms that show the results of campaigns. You can customize your data and define different reports, but SAS also provides a standard report."
"You can enable it for business users or marketing users to use it in a self-service way. So, the technical team is needed to build the features or processes, and then those processes can be used in a self-service way by your non-technical users."

Cons

"Overall, LeadSquared is a solid platform, but there are things that could improve."
"The solution can get quite expensive, especially as you add more users."
"However, I have seen many cases where it provides only sixty-five to seventy percent accuracy, which I believe can be significantly improved."
"The solution’s UI could be more user-friendly."
"I have not seen any return on investment."
"Currently, we use a third party for calling, and if LeadSquared had an inbuilt third-party integration such as Ameyo or Exotel for calling, or if LeadSquared improved the calling mechanism within the platform itself instead of relying on a third party, that would be an improvement."
"The notifications and workflow management can be improved in LeadSquared."
"The report feature of LeadSquared needs to improve."
"You need to buy connectors to integrate Marketing Automation with various suppliers. For example, if I want to see the data through Power BI, I need a connector to see the data directly. Otherwise, you need to do everything manually. You have to download information from SAS and then save a text file, and then I can import it into Power BI. I would like Marketing Automation to have this native functionality without the need to pay more for connectors."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I am not sure about the cost of the solution overall, but with their SMS notifications services, there is an extra cost."
"LeadSquared is not as costly as other CRM solutions."
"We have an annual renewable license for LeadSquared."
"The license is paid yearly, and it is about 30 euros per month per user."
"I'm not aware of the full cost. The financials are not with me. In terms of additional costs, there are always OpEx and CapEx. That's one way to look at it. You also need separate hardware to deploy the product."
