Find out what your peers are saying about Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco, Dell Technologies and others in Blade Servers."The product has a lot of options for checking servers and IoT ports using artificial intelligence."
"The solution is very easy to use."
"Wide choice in mixing SAN and LAN."
"They have served different needs for us from virtualized web servers to dedicated databases and application servers."
"Virtual Fabric and interconnects are easy to configure and maintain."
"The solution uses a smaller space in our data centers. It uses less feeder and network cable, which reduces costs."
"The most valuable feature of HPE BladeSystem is simplified management."
"The most valuable feature of this solution is its high availability."
"It is very easy to use, and it is very fast."
"The tool's most valuable feature is its fast performance, especially in handling snapshots. It helps during power outages when we need to quickly move data between different data centers. It ensures efficient replication and helps maintain our data centers' uptime."
"Pure Storage FlashBlade is user-friendly. It's replication feature is great because it has active replication and active DR. That's the beauty of the product. It's a perfect solution for block storage."
"The tool's most valuable features are data warehousing, speedy recovery, and analytics. Its latest release is cost-effective."
"It performs well and it is also very fast."
"The solution is able to handle workloads and is easy to use. It allows us to actually manage the boxes in less time."
"The solution provides many controllers."
"Speed and ease of use are the two most valuable features."
"The price of the solution has room for improvement."
"The scalability is limited because you only have a 16-server by chassis."
"The solution could improve by having more automation, such as the automatic mapping feature that is available in the Synergy Blade series."
"Really look at it closely, but really look at the Synergy product as well. That seems to me like that's the next evolution of the BladeSystem."
"For me, the product is okay, but I would probably suggest improvement in their services or technical support. They need to work harder in the preventative maintenance of the system. They need to improve in terms of how quickly can we get attention and how quickly problems are resolved. Its price could also be lower."
"HPE BladeSystem can improve by providing the latest generation processor engine, such as the I-Flex processor."
"We had a few hard drives that crashed, and we couldn't find them locally. We've tried internationally, but we are still struggling to get its spare parts. This is the main challenge that we have faced with this solution. Fortunately, the other drives are still working. There should be easy availability of spare parts. I should be able to request a quotation online from HPE for things that I am not able to get locally. Currently, I can order online, but when I type the serial number, most of the time, it is rejected. I don't know why it is happening. It could be because the company that sold us the system didn't buy it through the normal HPE channel. HPE should assist us as users to get the spare parts. Its security needs to be beefed up. I would like some security features. It was also challenging for us to set it up because we didn't get enough training from them."
"The problem is that when want to expand with a new chassis, you have to do everything manually. It's not automatic."
"There could be improvements in public cloud integration."
"There is some room for new features related to authentication and integration with Kubernetes, and other solution using S3 Bucket."
"It would be beneficial if the layer could support the S3 protocol and be container ready in the next release."
"We haven't been able to use much of the cloud area of Pure Storage. We have a storage server and it would be better if it could integrate with other cloud features of this solution."
"They need better integration with public clouds along with a better hybrid solution."
"It's on the expensive side, as expected for a niche product."
"I would like to see better integration."
"Compared to, for example, Hitachi NAS, the solution is not mature at all. It's just in its infancy as far as technology goes."
