Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"Technical support is pretty good.""The most valuable feature of Delinea Secret Server is secret password management.""The discovery engine is really robust and flexible. It had some session management features that are better compared to some other vendors. Overall the GUI is very good and straightforward to operate compared to other solutions. For example, CyberArk and Hitachi tend to be hard to navigate.""I like that it's user-friendly.""I like the one-way hash, as well as the ability to store it in the cloud and access it from anywhere.""The surveillance is most valuable.""Number one is the password vault; it's very good. Number two, they have a feature for remote desktops that are created on a per session basis, which is very good for security.""The solution is good."

"I like Passportal's extensions. You can click the particular company you want and go through all the passwords and usernames associated with that company or the specific webpage you're on or their server or whatever. It's a whole lot faster."

Cons
"The initial setup and deployment can be cumbersome. It's not an easy process.""I formerly used only one service: the remote server. For example, I connected to the Active Directory user and the computer's console. But now, I need to do a remote connection to the domain controller. Maybe it only connects to that tool, the Active Directory users, and the computer management console, but not to the domain controller. Another thing Delinea could add is multi-factor authentication.""The UI needs improvement because the interface is a little clumsy.""One thing that I wish they would do is to have a Kubernetes or container-based deployment supported, but they're not quite there yet. Containerization or support for containerization would be fantastic.""The setup for this solution is complex. I'm not going to lie, you need a specialized system security engineer to deploy it.""Delinea Secret Server can improve by extending the monitoring policies and making the performance better.""In terms of what could be improved, the whole thing with distributed engines, et cetera, is a little bit tricky.""What needs improvement? The product can be improved by reducing the number of updates provided."
