Has improved credential security with remote password change and role-based access
I have not faced any significant issues with Delinea Secret Server during this period of time, but we had a problem with a web password filler, which is a template used for accessing a web URL using Secret Server, where we faced some session management issues since session management is not applicable for the web password filler. This should be the improvement that we require from Delinea Secret Server. The session management is not applicable in this case; we can manage the session and have session management inside the remote systems within the organization. However, when it comes to web-related access, we can access directly through Delinea Secret Server. We can access any URL through Secret Server, but the problem is that the session cannot be managed on the web URL due to it having multiple systems. I do not have any other recommendations regarding the improvement of Delinea Secret Server at this time.

With its extension, I can quickly access login information without opening a new browser window
Passportal's stability is okay. However, it goes down a little too often for me to recommend it to somebody else. I can only remember one or two outages with IT Glue. With Passportal, it gets frustrating when you need to reset a password for a client, and you have to put their global admin address in there because what you're doing requires admin privileges. But you can't get in there because Passportal isn't working, and the password might be a 48-character password. If it's down for five minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes — that's too long. It's a real inconvenience. It doesn't happen all the time, but I've been at this job two months, and it's probably happened three or four times. I don't like this. I'm used to having it right at my fingertips. I need access now. With the influx of tickets coming in and time management, it needs to be like that.

"The zero-trust PIN is a great feature of the solution."
"There has been no downtime this year."
"It is a stable solution."
"Passportal is very stable."
"I like Passportal's extensions; you can click the particular company you want and go through all the passwords and usernames associated with that company or the specific webpage you're on or their server or whatever, which is a whole lot faster because I don't have to open up a new browser or use my bookmark or anything like that."
"Passportal has the advantage of also being a document management system."

Cons

"I would like to see the shadowing of ongoing terminal sessions (Remote Desktop Mirroring)."
"We faced some upgrade issues, especially during the management and administration parts. I found it less straightforward than on many other platforms, even outside password managers."
"I formerly used only one service: the remote server. For example, I connected to the Active Directory user and the computer's console. But now, I need to do a remote connection to the domain controller. Maybe it only connects to that tool, the Active Directory users, and the computer management console, but not to the domain controller. Another thing Delinea could add is multi-factor authentication."
"It would be better if they had a Linux version of the secret server."
"As I am partial to CyberArk, I rate Thycotic Password Reset Server as a nine out of ten, owing to the minor glitches I mentioned."
"Its remote support feature needs improvement."
"My only negative thing to say about Thycotic would involve the servicing not having been written for 2019."
"Very occasionally indexes won’t contain all the search results expected."
"Passportal's stability is okay. However, it goes down a little too often for me to recommend it to somebody else."
"In the future, I would like the ability to have diagrams, such as those created by Visio, available directly in Passportal."
