Unified risk scoring has improved our cloud visibility and simplifies remediation priorities
Qualys TotalCloud provides unified vulnerability and threat assessment across both IAS and SaaS. This solution provides a single prioritized view of risk, which helps reduce the work I would have to do. We are no longer based on CVSS; we are based on Qualys risk scoring, which is based on CVSS plus internal findings made by Qualys, and then assigns its own score. The TruRisk insight feature has found a small number of assets with high vulnerability scores, though I am cautious since some information is classified. Qualys TotalCloud has positively impacted our bank's performance, and we have definitely seen benefits after implementing this solution.

Unified multi cloud visibility has simplified governance and strengthened security oversight
Our tech team has reported a few bugs in certain areas, such as cloud logs. Whenever there are new updates happening on the cloud system, the logs need to be updated regularly, but we sometimes feel there are lapses in terms of log accounts or traces. Once we report the issue, the ticket gets resolved, but a more streamlined cloud logs system would be helpful. Additionally, establishing a full-fledged audit control reporting structure is needed, especially since we conduct risk assessments. The team is working aggressively on these improvements, and I am in conversation with them on a fortnightly basis. For user experience, I would advise their team to organize more orientation workshops and feedback sessions on a weekly basis. Currently, they take place monthly, but aggressive training on navigation, data reading, and understanding matrices is essential for newcomers. Enhancing training and capacity building is crucial, and there are no significant issues with integration, but further enhancement of integration features could also be beneficial. I choose 8 out of 10 because while the functionalities and features are excellent, there are areas that need improvement in terms of capacity building, training, and developing new features. Additionally, addressing the downtime issues, especially on weekends when our operations often run, is crucial to avoiding data access disruptions during busy periods.

Centralized visibility has improved risk-based vulnerability management but onboarding still needs simplification
From my perspective, the features of Uptycs that stand out more for my projects and organization are the vulnerability management, endpoint visibility, and asset inventory management features. I can share two specific outcomes that show this positive impact using Uptycs. First, it reduces significant time and effort from the asset inventory point of view because previously I needed to scan all of the assets which were in scope, but now I only scan those assets that are currently active and in scope, and the CMDB and asset inventory receive proper updates of those assets. Secondly, in vulnerability prioritization, I receive all the prioritized vulnerabilities so I can prioritize and mitigate or remediate them as soon as possible, which reduces the overall time of remediation as well.

"One improvement could be making the initial setup process more intuitive, especially for new users; otherwise, it has been a solid product."
"I am looking forward for a positive contribution because as per the research I did so far, it is going to benefit us if we start utilizing it, but I am a little concerned of whether it will fit in all our requirements."
"CloudAware can be improved by offering more free options or reducing pricing, as startups may find the cost high."
"CloudAware has existed for ten to fifteen years, but it seems they have not come up with any solution for small organizations."
"We end up facing a lot of issues after upgrades."
