Enhances web security with a single pane of glass and flexible deployment
I don't see any need for improvement; one of the really good things about iboss as a company is that they listen to customer feedback. I have suggested enhancements, and they are responsive, making changes for the better, and they do a lot of testing. To improve iboss, although we haven't used it, we considered the VPN solution that comes with the highest tier licensing, which includes DLP and various other add-ons. We prefer using another product which automatically logs you back onto your network when turning on your PC. With iboss, the connection is manual, which doesn't meet our needs. Additionally, sizing can be tricky because, although the initial recommendations may seem adequate, actual usage may require more gateways than anticipated.

Have streamlined policy configuration and improved network adaptability with some need for better reporting and observability
I may not be that equipped now, but there are certainly growth areas for them, especially around how they provide reporting and monitoring and then flexibility of combining it with an observability part attached to it. This would remove the need to integrate another specialist tool for observability or monitoring part. They would certainly employ AI, especially agentic AI. I think that should be already part of their roadmap as a transversal. But certainly, the kind of integrations they offer today, in the future, I would think they would add more and more feature sets, especially around where they remove the dependency of having specialist solutions on a typical monitoring side. I think it's a fair price. It's positioned very well in the market. It's not low or very high. In the future, I hope that with more services being bundled as part of the solution on the cloud side, they should reduce the price being, provide bundle service. I think in the future they will come up with reduced pricing, more competitive pricing. But today it's fair. It's not very low or very high.

Used for remote user access, simplifying cybersecurity, and improving WAN connectivity
Lumen uses Fortinet as a foundational piece of one version of their service. You could also use Versa Networks. For me, the two best ones are Fortinet and Versa Networks. Fortinet has its own hardware, which is better because you're going with their global hardware manufacturer, which makes the fastest chips for that type of service. I know that Lumen uses Fortinet equipment in their telecom and cybersecurity networks within their company. You get a very streamlined network if you're connecting to their Fortinet equipment through their SASE service. Since Versa Networks is not based on Fortinet, there's no Versa equipment in the core of the Lumen network, like Fortinet. That's the main difference to me. You're diversifying by getting the advantages of having a lot of computing power in the Fortinet equipment. With Versa Networks, you cannot keep pace with the higher volumes or if you're doing a lot of mobile configurations. You're better off with all the options you have of having the advantage of using Fortinet equipment for different types of uses. Versa Networks is not a cybersecurity hardware company, and they are missing that whole extra advantage.
