Reliable connectivity and robust support enhance customer experience
We are working with version 2.0, which is usually the latest one.Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is 100% reliable, as I have never faced any issues in our deployment after deployment, and the support is also very good. It takes a maximum of 15-20 minutes to configure one particular site of Cambium Networks Wireless LAN. The usual deployment process involves inspecting the hardware at our warehouse, dispatching it to the customer location, where the vendor installs the access point, and once it has internet, the configuration will be directly pushed from the cloud to the access point, making it up and running. Currently, around 100 plus of my customers are using this solution. My customers are a mix of medium and enterprise businesses. The least amount my customers usually pay is around $1,000, and the largest amount is approximately $10,000 per year. On a scale of 1-10, I rate Cambium Networks Wireless LAN a 9 overall.

Offers great control and visibility to users, along with availability on the cloud
The other solutions did not offer the visibility that Mojo Networks offered. During the rolling out of the installation process, you have to go through the on-premises model to be able to make some changes. If somebody needs to make necessary changes, you must go to the on-premises model with the initial product. With the cloud solution, you don't have to go for the on-premises model, as you can make the changes over the cloud. The stability offered by Mojo Networks is better than the other products available in the market since, with other tools, you need to keep restarting them frequently, and it may be required once or twice a day, especially if it is used as an enterprise solution or in an enterprise environment, where the traffic is too high, causing the build-up of a lot of cache memory, fill-ups, and SRAM, a reason why one will have to restart such products.

"Our company started with the solution ten or so years ago and after that, we developed fast."
"Cambium Networks Wireless LAN was highly scalable, allowing deployment of fewer access points while covering more area, adapting well with the evolution of wireless standards."
"If I implement Cambium, it has a lot of features, the main advantage is that Cambium provides a five-year warranty on all the devices and it can be managed from cloud cnMaestro, which is free of cost, therefore, it helps save an organization on costs."
"We can scale it if we need to."
"Altogether, they are unbeatable in the market."
"Arista Wifi (Mojo) is highly scalable with a single pane of glass for management, and its troubleshooting capabilities and deep insights are praiseworthy, which together reduce management efforts and help you achieve a great ROI."
"The solution is very stable."
"The most important feature is ease of use. We can simply take an access point and plug it in, then it is automatically configured for us."
"The configuration is simple and the reports can be automated."
"Their Cognitive WiFi analytics (Mojo Aware) is the biggest feature on their dashboard. It helps us know where the problem, so we don't have to spend time with the customer diagnosing it."
"We just plugged it in and it worked. That just doesn't happen. We plugged it in and it worked and all 100 kids got on the test and started testing."
"The cloud-based architecture of the controller is valuable because it obviously saves on my hardware costs."

Cons

"The problem with this radio wireless technology is that it cannot compete in terms of bandwidth with the fiber optics at this moment. That's the biggest weakness."
"Cambium currently lacks such extensive analytics capabilities."
"We would like this product to have more information data sheets available. At present we cannot easily access details around the full capability of a piece of equipment."
"We would like this product to have more information data sheets available. At present we cannot easily access details around the full capability of a piece of equipment."
"I do not see any benefits compared with other products. I do not see things which Cambium Networks Wireless LAN has and the others do not."
"Not a lot of technical engineers are familiar with Cambium Networks Wireless LAN. They are familiar with implementing and using other solutions such as Aruba. Therefore, Cambium Networks needs to be more visible in the marketplace."
"The capacity and coverage could be improved."
"The solution’s technical support could be faster."
"They could use more additional application security and network security features. They could add on to the WiFi as a selling point. It would be nice to be able to say to the WiFi users, "We will protect you against viruses and malware, so you don't have to purchase that.""
"Needs greater simplicity in the management portal. Currently, the Mojo portal presents different apps to configure the devices, create splash pages, configure security settings, and monitor the network."
"The solution is a bit pricier than Cisco."
"The user interface needs improvement. It could be a little bit more user-friendly."
"My only complaint about this product is its availability."
"Something that could be improved is the ability to easily and quickly see what speed someone is on and if there are any issues on the network. We are using the older software technology, so maybe their newest version is able to do that."
"The implementation could be simplified. Right now it's a bit complex."
"The renewal costs that come with it are very expensive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Cambium Networks Wireless LAN is cheaper than Aruba."
"Cambium Networks Wireless LAN has a moderate pricing."
"The pricing and licensing might vary based on each country's specific needs and telecommunication regulations."
"In general, the way we purchased it was we purchased it at the beginning, was with five years of support, once our initial cost was met, we didn't have to pay for anything else."
"The licensing costs for this solution are calculated per asset, and depending on the model of the equipment, it starts at $230, and goes up to roughly $1,200. The benefit of this solution is that there are no hidden costs; no cost for managing the equipment, and no cost for maintaining the equipment during its usable lifetime."
"If one is a high price and ten is a low price, I rate the product price as one."
"It is an expensive product compared to other competitors."
"I would place it in the mid-range market segment, balancing affordability and profitability."
"The cost is a one-time fee."
"Of every solution we looked at, every wireless solution, Mojo was a minimum of six figures cheaper. Minimum. Most of them were double, which again is unheard of. Not only do you get all the feature benefits, like everything is there, everything just works, but at the same time, it was a no-brainer, because of the cost. It's almost like you hit the lottery."
"They have been a great price competitor against some of the other big brands, like Meraki, especially for cloud-based WiFi. However, Meraki has been more expensive. They beat Meraki on features for the WiFi, which makes them a better choice even if the price is the same."
"The pricing was a good value and substantially less than some of the other products that we looked at. In some cases, with some of the big names, this product was even close to half the price."
"There are other solutions, like Ubiquiti, that have lowered their prices, which sometimes makes the argument to go with them. However, we do not bake in the WiFi for other vendors into our managed services, because they do not meet our standard offering."
"Since they have only the cloud and on-premises platform, the price looks good compared to the other OEMs like Cisco and Ruckus. For one of the Wi-Fi 6 access points for five years, they might be charging 20,000 to 25,000 INR."
"I rate the product's price as an eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"Pricing includes the planning tools, management, security, analytics, and advanced guest WiFi capabilities. It's always better to buy the longest term available for the best ROI. However, device will continue to function without valid cloud license."
