Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Pros

"Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"What I appreciate most about Bitdefender are its web content filtering, blocking malicious sites, and its ability to thwart brute force attacks on open ports."
"In terms of threat detection, I would give it a ten out of ten since Bitdefender manages to catch threats that other products miss."
"It is perfectly stable. We haven't received any complaints from customers regarding stability or performance. It's been smooth sailing so far."
"The features I found most valuable in Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security include anti-malware, spyware detection, firewall, network detection, and user behavior analytics. The solution also gives you a heads-up about operating system misconfiguration."
"Virus scan and the ability to remotely install are valuable features. Being able to manage everything in one place and set different policies and rules for different computer types are very useful features. It also has ransomware protection. It is very simple to use, and it is very effective."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device."
"I like Sophos Virtualization Security's built-in antivirus and malware protection. The firewalls are pretty stable. It's just a matter of updating the virus signatures, and they're pretty good about providing those updates regularly."
"The SVM deployment has very good performance."
"When it comes to their firewall, it notified me about a possible infection."
"The most valuable features of the solution are VM security, VLP, and threat protection."
"I highly recommend Sophos Virtualization Security. I rate the overall solution ten out of ten for its excellent features and support."
"Using this solution allows us to set up rule-based access control."
"Overall, I rate Sophos Virtualization Security a nine out of ten due to its ease of use, security, and customer support."

Cons

"The connection with the controller needs improvement. Some connections are currently unstable."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"The solution's stability could be better."
"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"They've got all this training that's available, but it involves stuff that doesn't really encompass the solution as a whole."
"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big. What I mean is the initial file I download to deploy on end-user devices is about six hundred to seven hundred megabytes, and it should be scaled down to an agent size of maybe less than one hundred megabytes, max."
"The security features as per customers' requirements should be improved."
"I think it would be helpful if I could get a live console directly on the machine. Additionally, if I could run scripts on the machines to respond to any incidents, that would be a great feature."
"Sophos Virtualization Security requires more usage. For example, if you have a virtual service line of 100 nodes, you are unable to deploy them from the console to a particular environment."
"I would like to see some new features for improving the security part of the solution."
"I wish Sophos could offer the solution at a lower price, but I doubt they will."
"We are unable to reliably specify bandwidth limits for particular clients, which is something that needs to be improved."
"The process of registering licenses for remote devices could be optimized as there have been instances where devices entered an unknown state."
"The solution would be improved if all of the advanced features were included in the SVM."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"We purchase the solution for three or five-year intervals. We paid approximately $150 for 10 to 15 users."
"The license is yearly."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"There are many licensing options available, we have been on monthly agreements and other volume contract agreements."
"For virtualization security, the cost is approximately $50 USD per seat."
"Depending on the subscription, the price ranges from $700 to $1,000. There's a subscription for the antivirus and malware and another that includes web and email. So you might need that extended subscription if you were housing an email firewall. Otherwise, you pay a flat rate for the firewall. It's not based on the number of users."
