Admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and good to use for servers and endpoints
The important factor is that after implementing Bitdefender, we haven't found any attacks. It has a vaccine for the RDP protocol, which is specific to this. We do some customization, but it does not lack any protection. Compared to older versions, we have not found any degradation in performance in the newer versions from the last three to five years, whether for graphical or normal users. They're not complaining that we are facing problems like memory issues. Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running. The admin gets the information about which computer has been infected and can take action accordingly. On a regular basis, Bitdefender's AI capability is okay. But you cannot leave some decisions to AI. You must have control. You have to look at what you're filtering, as it can be a false positive. But on a regular basis, AI can be helpful.

Effective threat predictions, simple to deploy, and light on resources
Malwarebytes's initial setup is simple. It is easy to deploy and configure the policies and the configuration. I deployed Malwarebytes for one customer and I did it in under two days. They had approximately 50 users, it took approximately an hour. The steps I took for the implementation were downloading the Malwarebytes management console from the site, installing it, then running the discovery tool, scanning my network, and checking all of the PCs on my network. It's already pre-configured, you don't need to configure anything. The only configuration that I did on the administration console was some of the exclusion from the scan. This is the only rule that I have created. I rate the initial setup of Malwarebytes a ten out of ten.

Pros

"The cloud console is good and the tool is effective in protection."
"In terms of threat detection, I would give it a ten out of ten since Bitdefender manages to catch threats that other products miss."
"Bitdefender is also customizable and granular, but once you install it, it keeps running."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"The tool has a firewall module to control traffic. It also has a feature to map incidents and provide information about attackers and the environment."
"The product is a good standard security tool."
"The risk analytics capability is excellent because the central console is very good."
"It takes lesser energy from the system than the rest. So, we tried it for five years, and it works quite well. So we have continued with it. And the pricing is competitive as well."
"It allows us to have better knowledge of the way people use the tool and how we can improve their workflows."
"The platform is straightforward to install."
"The most valuable features of the solution are malware scanning and malware removal."
"Malwarebytes is a comprehensive solution for keeping endpoints safe and secure from intruders, viruses, malware and so on."
"The behavior-based detection is very nice, and it combats zero-day threats by looking for anomalous behaviors."
"It gets the job done, and they are consistently updating it monthly."
"The solution has a good management interface."
"When it comes to frontend protections, it has some of the best definitions. In addition, they do traditional signature and heuristic detection a lot better than Microsoft and some other players in that space."

Cons

"My main concern is that it's a bit heavy for some devices. Like Kaspersky or McAfee, it uses more RAM or memory. Similar to that, it causes issues for users and their own resources, similar to that. If you deploy on old legacy devices with only 1GB of RAM, then it could be a problem."
"The tool needs to improve patch and vulnerability management."
"The live monitoring service from Bitdefender's center is expensive and has room for improvement."
"They've got all this training that's available, but it involves stuff that doesn't really encompass the solution as a whole."
"It could be simplified a little bit for firewall rules and blocking specific IP addresses. It would be nice to have an option to upload a CSV or XLSX file of IP addresses to be blacklisted or to be able to specify a range as attempted logins from botnets and people attempting to access network accounts is an increasing issue across the board."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"Machines with low memory and CPU may experience slow performance."
"They can include advanced scanning and improve reporting. I scan malware on the pen drive. Some more reports need to be added for that. It should also provide better protection because we have a new version of the malware."
"A solution must be installed in the main gateway to give an overview of the incoming and outgoing traffic. The technical support team's response time should be faster."
"There are no built-in backups or integrated backup options, which could be an opportunity."
"The free version is effective, however, the paid version is pricey compared to it."
"The product is a little bit more expensive than the other brands."
"Overall, I haven't found any ways the solution lacks in features or usability."
"I would like to see integration with other vendors going forward."
"We had a little performance problem with the solution, but that's been resolved. Since then, it's been running well."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The general basic price is roughly $1.20 for a license with Bitdefender."
"The licensing costs can vary."
"The tool's pricing structure is good. We use an annual subscription."
"You don't have to pay extra after buying the product."
"The pricing is reasonable when I compare it to other security solutions, particularly Kaspersky, it stands out. It offers an excellent solution at a more favorable price point."
"Good in terms of pricing and flexibility."
"The price is fair."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price and ten is a high price, I rate the product's pricing a seven."
"The price of Malwarebytes is in the middle range compared to other vendors."
"Its cost is around $60 a machine. The cost of the total solution for 250 people is about $8,500 a year. If we add EDR to it, it will bring that cost up to about $15,000. The cost for Carbon Black is about $25,000, which is $10,000 more, but you get all AI functions with it."
"It is really expensive. We've got between 30 and 40 licenses every year, and for the number of licenses that we have, we're finding that Malwarebytes on average costs between $900 and $1,000 more per year than comparable options. We're paying about $3,300 per year for these licenses. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
"The platform pricing is competitive with other antivirus products."
"The cost may be something in the ballpark of $20-25 a year per computer."
"I believe the retail price is between $40 and $50 per copy."
"Its licensing is annual. There are no additional costs beyond the standard licensing fee."
