Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"We have seen Workfusion improve on accuracy and compliance... With the Workfusion model, we reduce human error and the need for further QC. We switch more to a QA process where we're testing whether the model is effective.""The cognitive features of this solution are good.""It's a pretty robust product.""It takes care of simple tasks so users can focus more on exceptions than on regular use cases. They only focus on orders where they need to handle an exception, some information was not given, or there is an issue that they had to focus on. The rest of it goes straight through without human touch. We want to see our employees as engineers, wherein they think and solve problems, not necessarily have to do repetitive tasks. I think WorkFusion helps with avoiding repetitive tasks.""For automating mundane activities, I can recommend WorkFusion.""It really does help by either freeing up people's time to focus on more value-added tasks or reducing headcount. We generally have other things that we can get people to do, helping make the employees' work more meaningful since they are not having to do the mundane stuff.""The solution is stable, we have not had any glitches or problems.""The most valuable features are the Excel activities. It has a number of Excel activities that are quite reliable."

"WLM & Device Pool, where multiple devices perform the same thing parallel and complete the tasks at the same time. The credential manager for security is one of the most valuable features for storing credentials and providing security between the developer usage and future maintenance where passwords expire every 90 days.""Improved Efficiency : Post RPA services, the efficiency and accuracy of the processes have increased tremendously and now the employees can focus more on important research and analysis work.""The marketing automation software provides easy workflow creation and management.""The control room is the best part as everything can be seen and controlled from there, scheduling storing of credentials, and much more. I have used PDF extraction and other tools where data needs to be extracted and it works great at that part. I highly recommended this tool for automation.""Error handling plays an important role when you schedule a bot because if you are not physically present and something happens, you need to know what has gone wrong.""The most valuable feature is the power of AI Technologies involved in Automation Anywhere's IQBot - such as Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Fuzzy Logic, and Machine Learning.""Object cloning with an option to enter wildcard selection was very useful when working in a web application that generated dynamic HTML content.""I really like Screen Recording because it is used to record a task or a series of actions."

"I like Kryon RPA's ability to use automated and manual processes with any bot.""We use Kryon Studio to develop new wizards and we use the features to capture elements from the screen and automate processes... The screen capture allows us to interface with systems which don't have an API, or where the API is very expensive, and it allows us to do on-screen integration.""The bot is typically about twice as fast as a person and more accurate, as long as the data going in is good. That is the biggest advantage.""Kryon RPA is very stable - we've not had many disruptions, and the product is updated regularly.""We have been using Kryon Process Discovery for about a year now. With our initial tests and monitoring just a couple people, we were able to identify 79 possible use cases within a one-month period.""Attended automation has diverted 34 percent of training calls to our tech support centers."

Cons
"We are having some database issues, but we are addressing them.""I would like it if they provided a more detailed roadmap in terms of where they are going with the product. As we are trying to make decisions about the things that we are going to do to try to augment our capabilities, we could know whether they are thinking about the same things or not.""There is enhanced functionality I would like to see, things that would further enhance the user experience, deliver greater efficiencies, and further mitigate risk.""The solution is not user-friendly, this is something they should improve.""We have executed our robots thousands of times in our enterprise environment. However, in an enterprise environment, WorkFusion has performance problems. It is slow in production.""It is difficult for non-technical users to use WorkFusion. If we really want to build automation, we definitely need Java developers. Their RPA is not for non-technical people. If I look at competing products, like Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism, or even Power Automate, a non-technical person can build basic automations and deploy them. Since non-technical people can easily build basic automations, they can be deployed in no time. With WorkFusion, there isn't a similar feature that works well. One needs to write code from scratch to build automation. That is definitely a deterrent if we really want to do quick, dirty automation. I would not rate WorkFusion very high on their no-code, low-code paradigm. In this area, I would definitely expect them to improve.""This is a Java-based application that takes up a lot of space and when it runs, consumes a lot of memory. This affects the reliability because it gets to a point where it hangs.""The product could do more to expand its 'codeless' coding options by adding drag-and-drop assistance in building bots for non-technical users."

More WorkFusion Cons →

"I would like to use VB.NET native code inside of Automation Anywhere.""Automation Anywhere can also be improved in machine learning and artificial intelligence. It would make our lives easier.""If we are getting input from a CSV file, we have to add one more layer of automation that first saves the data to an Excel file.""It would be great if there will be a built-in machine learning model available in the AA, so the developer can directly map it with their task and train the model accordingly.""Their bot runners could be made to handle multiple payloads at the same time because if I want to run multiple parallel operations, the number of bot runners that I have to buy just keeps increasing. It is adding to the cost. However, there is a possibility that we don't need that many bot runners, and we can run multiple operations in a bot runner. This would be a great addition to have.""The assign value function is not there in the A2019 Community edition, which makes it hard for a developer to manipulate the data.""The AA portal should not give us pop-ups every time a bot agent is updated.""Scaling from small to medium automation works well, but if building out very big applications, sometimes the code can be too lengthy and uncontrollable."

More Automation Anywhere (AA) Cons →

"The only unstable part is Studio where you build this stuff. In our version, the 5.25. It has a memory leak. If you leave it open for too long, eventually it just freezes. Saving your work, closing, and opening it just once a day is all it takes. However, this is a bug that I have noticed about the stability of the actual tool.""With the customer support, there have been some times where we have had to go through explaining the issue a couple times because it has gone through a couple of people's hands. There have been a couple of scenarios where we have had to re-explain the issue and bring somebody new up to speed on what is going on or what the problem is.""Kryon RPA's integration with other solutions could be more seamless.""Kryon could be easier to use, especially in comparison to UiPath.""We have found some difficulties regarding the integration with legacy systems where the screen has elements in the Hebrew language. The connection to Hebrew, right-to-left systems, is more challenging.""I have seen some very minor occurrences where Kryon's interactions with Microsoft Office might cause the robot to hang. However, it is about one to two percent of the time where we are seeing this happen. It is such a small percentage that it's not even something that we are overly worried about. This would be where they might have some stability issues, but it could be the Microsoft Office API or how they are interacting together."

Pricing and Cost Advice
  • "It is not the most expensive solution, but it is also not the cheapest."
  • "I can't speak to pricing. It's a contract signed by upper management."
  • "We are on an annual contract to use the solution."
  • "My client is using RPA Express, which is available for them to use free of charge."
  • "One upgrade took a year to do, from the first server being built to the last bot being migrated. This was because we had to migrate all our existing bots. This is the same process and time frame that we are expecting towards the upcoming upgrade. I will end up spending half a million dollars to do an upgrade."
  • "The solution was not the cheapest, but it was also not the most expensive. Workfusion was very open to negotiating pricing and to working within the objectives of our firm."
  • "As a first-time customer who wants to engage with WorkFusion, not working for my company, then I would want to do a PoC. The cost is prohibitive because they will ask me to get infrastructure with six or seven servers. Then, you must buy a WorkFusion license to do a PoC, which is expensive. I would then have to set up a team to build the PoC and see the benefits. That is very prohibitive."
  • "We have a good deal from WorkFusion. We have an unlimited global licensing deal with WorkFusion. For us, it is a no-worry solution. We can go ahead and use it as much as possible anywhere we need it. If WorkFusion has a different kind of a deal for licensing with others, then their business decisions need to be evaluated based on that."
  • More WorkFusion Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "My only suggestion in terms of pricing is very generic and that is to consider that as much as RPA saves cost and does automation, please get a realistic estimation done on whether you are really achieving any ROI over your investment with RPA."
  • "It is one of the most affordable RPA solutions, and as for licensing, they offer a community edition that greatly helps anyone who aspires to learn about the product before buying the enterprise solution."
  • "The price of this product is good."
  • "I don't deal have cost specifics but I can say it is a tool that provides value for the money."
  • "Pricing is affordable and I would recommend beginning with the Starter Package."
  • "The pricing and licensing are definitely moderate to costly but easily recoverable by achieving ROI quickly."
  • "Automation Anywhere is flexible in terms of costing and licensing."
  • "From my experience, I can say that the initial setup cost is easily recovered over a period of time once the bots start running in production."
  • More Automation Anywhere (AA) Pricing and Cost Advice →

  • "They license per robot and we have 25 robots. You get so many robot licenses and can allocate those licenses to either attended, unintended, or Process Discovery bots. If you have 25 licenses, for example, you could have 20 automation bots and five process discovery. This allocation is flexible. There are also maintenance costs."
  • "We are probably saving $6000 to $8000 a month in labor costs. It's not a ton, but we're right around $60,000 to $80,000 a year with our current deployment."
  • "Kryon is slightly more expensive compared to UiPath."

    Reviews from Real Users

Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by PeerSpot users currently using the Kryon RPA solution.

PeerSpot user, Adam S., Manager, Application Support at a consumer goods company, says, “The bot is typically about twice as fast as a person and more accurate, as long as the data going in is good. That is the biggest advantage. I do like the feature if you find an opportunity that it is very simple to export the recording of that process and import it into Kryon Studio as a starting point to build that automation. It's a really good tool for our business process managers because they can take all that information to their constituents in their departments.”

Another PeerSpot reviewer, a Senior Systems Analyst RPA at a hospitality company, mentions, “We have relied heavily on the the data group base integration features, as well as the email and Exchange integration features. The ability to integrate with Office makes life a lot easier. The ability to integrate with a database is a big perk from a scalability standpoint.”

Guy B., Head of BI and Process Automation at a financial services firm, comments, “The screen capture allows us to interface with systems which don't have an API, or where the API is very expensive, and it allows us to do on-screen integration. The automation process is very user-friendly and the usability is very good. Developers are very satisfied with the system.”
