Available to users at a very low price but needs improvement in the firewall area
The product is very easy to install. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6200, OmniSwitch 6300, or OmniSwitch 6600, you can install it in an hour and a half quickly without any problem implementing the configuration, but it's not stable. When it comes to OmniSwitch 6400, OmniSwitch 6800, or OmniSwitch 9700, mostly the tools are limited in terms of the protocol. The switch cannot be managed to manage the power of our ethernet. For example, if we connect an iPhone to the switch, 740 watts will be required, but after six months, someone will discover that the port doesn't work anymore. Even if we configure it to push the power of a port, it will not work. It's not really, it's not, it's not work. At the same time, the problem was that the tool was very old, like Alcatel OmniPCX Enterprise PABX system. In Alcatel, there are only two types of architecture, the old and new ones. For example, on the outside, if there is a need for 24 ports to be implemented on telephony, then we implement less than that number to connect to the end of the phone, which is a very serious problem that is not resolved by the product.

Reliable routing has connected branch sites securely and simplified long-term network operations
Cisco Enterprise Routers along with their trainings provide excellent value. Once you go through those trainings, you will be sure that you will be able to configure anything in the router. The trainings and the technologies have been perfected well, and there is a lot of flexibility. In terms of routing, you can do EIGRP, BGP, and all routing protocols. There is no limitation because EIGRP is Cisco-specific, which you may not be able to get from other types of routers. This gives you more flexibility. For example, with the commands provided, you get everything that you need to do what you want to do. Unlike other products where some commands need to be enabled by the vendor, Cisco has been very stable because it has been matured and has been there for a long time. It has been very stable. You can remove Cisco Enterprise Routers because they are obsolete, but not because they are not working. They can work with dust and everything on top of them, with no issues.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution's support is very great."
"An excellent and robust solution for delineating services over a common transport, through the use of IP/MPLS."
"This is the Enterprise Class solution for Routing, all technologies needed for now and for the future are supported."
"Most of the hardware is very stable."
"The features of Cisco Enterprise Routers that I find most useful for my networking are the enterprise routing capabilities."
"If you want an easy solution to keep your network running in a very short time, Cisco Enterprise Routers is a good option."
"The stability of the solution is better than most other solutions."
"The most valuable features are that it is more secure and easy to operate."
"Be it setting up of secure remote VPNs, providing security features like IPSEC, or setting up a robust firewall, Cisco enterprise routers are remarkable."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is that it makes it possible for users to use encryption and decryption since our company aims to achieve transparency, and without it, the other system on which it is used won't support it."

Cons

"The tool's VPN Firewall Brick did not work well since it doesn't have an interface with the cloud to upload the last signature, so it doesn't have this mechanism."
"More refinement of network group encryption (NGE)."
"We would like to see the security improved."
"It's not a fair price, it's a bit too high."
"If Cisco can give you one license and allow you to use all the features, that would be the best thing. We are using it only as a voice gateway, and there are other options available, but we need to procure licenses to use those options. We can use it as a security device, or we can use it for connecting the LAN side, but for that, we need all those licenses. They can provide one license and allow you to use all the features. This is my recommendation for Cisco."
"I wish the costing were per features so that Cisco would have been more affordable."
"Some of the features could be more secure."
"Cisco routers are very pricey. This is the biggest complaint from customers for which we provide support."
"While scalability is available, it must be paid for. The licensing and price could be improved as the equipment purchased may come with very basic commands that require the consumer to pay for a more expensive license for a greater array of functions."
"The price could be lowered."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool's price is very low."
"It's not probably the best solution if you have a very limited budget, as it can become very expensive to have robust equipment."
"Normally, we pay for the licenses upfront. I think it's mostly just a perpetual, once-off license."
"The product is very expensive and does not provide the expected performance for the cost."
"It is quite costly for the same feature as compared to Huawei and Juniper. I rate the pricing an eight out of ten."
"It is a costly solution."
"The price of Cisco Enterprise Routers is good for the service that you get."
"This solution is expensive compared to competitors. There are additional costs if you want to have their support."
"It's expensive and the pricing could be improved."
