Centralized content management has unified our digital channels and delivers consistent experiences
Adobe Experience Manager offers enterprise-level digital assets management and very robust customization, brand value consistency, and omnichannel delivery. It saves development and maintenance time. The digital asset management and omnichannel delivery features have benefited my team by managing our digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, and enabling us to deliver customized content easily to our clients. Organizing and obtaining information from results is beneficial. Strengthening our online experience as a brand is valuable. Easy integration with other Adobe services improves productivity and provides a smooth experience. Adobe Experience Manager has positively impacted my organization by enabling component and page reuse, which reduces application size. It saves manual effort for maintaining all applications, improves traffic, and ensures consistency across all our applications. It provides better security, scalability, and makes our applications more robust.

Customer journey insights have guided UX changes and now streamline our digital decisions
The best features ContentSquare offers include heatmaps, PII masking, GDPR compliance, good performance, and customer journey analytics. The feature that has made the biggest difference for my team is that ContentSquare is now a step ahead of the competition since it delivers insights based on predefined business KPIs and customer journeys that we have set up. We can also segment our traffic and easily shift through the many recordings, finding the ones that match our lookup criteria. The new non-flash interface is clean and simple to use and has all the functionality centralized. ContentSquare has positively impacted my organization, and it has helped us to integrate with analytic and optimization solutions and also helped us in identifying barriers in the customer journey.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"If you want to use content in a mobile application and you want the content in some other application, you can simply expose it from the CMS to different clients or different systems. It's easy. On top of that, the technology underlying AEM is open-source and is very powerful like Apache Sling and JCR."
"Adobe Experience Manager is pretty stable."
"It helps us with analytics, application design for specific platforms, and enables us to easily create applications for iOS and Android."
"Brand management, Digital Transformation of organization and Most dynamic site."
"The best feature is the experience fragment; if you want to replicate content across multiple websites with 1,000 or 20,000 pages, this feature helps accomplish it in a fraction of seconds."
"The search capability in Adobe Experience Manager is superior, as search capabilities are determined by the metadata, and it also has metadata automation using AI."
"Adobe Experience Manager has made document management smoother because many people use Adobe, making it simpler for me to modify and resend PDF documents."
"Adobe Experience Manager is a content management system, and we use it to create and manage a website."
"When we understand which step of the user journey users experience the most struggles and fix it by running A/B tests, we see better results and positive impacts on the business side."
"ContentSquare has been instrumental in helping us move from descriptive analytics to behavioral-driven decision-making."
"ContentSquare has positively impacted my organization by helping us achieve a 30% increase in the conversion rate, improvements in the number of visitors to our website who stayed, and also converting some of them into clients, alongside a reduction in the bounce rate by 10% and more."
"ContentSquare allows me to know how users use my website, see where users entered and exited, and see the bugs on the website, helping us understand which page performs better than another and why, so we can improve the future."
"ContentSquare heat maps stand out because they provide much more data compared to all other tools that include heat maps."
"The feature that I loved most was Session Replay, which made it super useful because it allowed us to filter to the specific issue that we were investigating at the time."
"Quicker access to answers helps you make decisions quicker, enabling the company to make customer or commercial decisions quicker as a result."
"We have already achieved a return on investment thanks to ContentSquare due to an increase in the site's conversion rate from the analyses we did on ContentSquare."

Cons

"Tool-wise, the Adobe Experience Manager support team is not very responsive when the user face issues in AEM as a Cloud Service."
"The licenses are very expensive."
"The programming model could be improved, it's a monolithic solution and that's what we don't like."
"If something is deleted in AEM, the user cannot recover it. You have to call technical support, and they will need to recover the whole instance."
"The licensing model is opaque, and technical support could be improved, especially for smaller companies."
"The tech support from Adobe is slow to respond and takes a lot of time to fix product related bugs."
"The solution's pricing and stability could be improved."
"There is a feature missing where if content is created on the UAT environment and needs to be transferred or synced to the production environment, there is no direct way of doing the sync."
"ContentSquare could be improved because sometimes the numbers do not stay the same when I check them at different times."
"ContentSquare is sometimes very slow, so I have noticed some performance issues."
"Analyzing recordings leads to answers that can be overly generic and repetitive, making them less useful after some time."
"Another disadvantage of ContentSquare is the pricing, which is significantly more expensive compared to other competitors."
"ContentSquare could be improved by making it easier to do the mappings, as there is still a lot of room for improvement in my opinion, especially on the validation stage that must be improved and made easier."
"However, in terms of bounce rates, there was some confusion since ContentSquare's bounce rate didn't match what we observed in Google Analytics."
"ContentSquare can be improved in specific areas."
"I choose that number because it is still manual, and I struggle with Journey Analysis due to the complicated mapping structure."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There's a free trial for one month for Adobe Experience Manager, which you can use for learning purposes, then, after the trial period, you'll need to purchase the license. Adobe offers a few plans for Adobe Experience Manager, but I'm unaware of how much my company is paying."
"It's a costly solution. I would rate the price at two out of five on a scale from one to five, where one is the most expensive and five is the most competitive."
"It's really costly."
"Users have to pay a yearly licensing fee to use the solution, which is highly-priced."
