A secure solution that needs to improve JumpCloud integration
The tool's most valuable feature is security.  We faced issues while integrating 1Password into JumpCloud.  I have been using the product for more than two years.  1Password is stable.  My company has 200 users for the product.  The tool's deployment is easy.  The tool's pricing is not too…

Secures critical infrastructures with essential user session audit records
A potential area for improvement is enhancing support for cluster environments and distributed Vaults. Clients in multiple countries that need central access have different challenges that require better solutions from CyberArk. For financial services, CyberArk can improve incident response by ensuring fast support for critical priority tickets to meet compliance requirements. Providing more documentation on CyberArk is recommended for new team members to enhance their troubleshooting capabilities. I understand it's up to the client, but 99% fail to change the demo key, so it's crucial for CyberArk to emphasize changing the key and documenting it as part of the installation process.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution's most valuable features are its password management security and cloud firewall."
"1Password helps to generate unique passwords that you do not need to remember."
"The most valuable feature of 1Password is the one that automatically generates a password and MFA for me when I try to enter them, instead of going and hardcoding it."
"The tool's most valuable feature is security."
"1Password is very secure for storing all my passwords, keys, and secrets for work."
"Password Vault's policy configuration is very good - when you receive an attack, you can segment the structure of the project in order to isolate parts or users."
"We like it for the ability to automatically change passwords. At least for my group, that's the best thing."
"You can gradually implement CyberArk, starting with more easily attainable goals."
"It is a single tool that isolates possible kinds of malware. You get lateral movement blocking and auditing information, e.g., you know who is doing what. You are getting protections from the service as well as a useful environment. All your admins can easily go in and out of your company while accessing your servers in a secure way, even if they are working abroad."
"The solution helps our developers access internal systems. It also helps us in Privilege Access Management."
"The solution is scalable."
"We have been able to manage application credentials in CyberArk, whether they come as a custom plugin or straight out-of-the-box."
"On the customer accounts side, our account managers are responsive. If you ask them, they will get you whomever you need."

Cons

"We faced issues while integrating 1Password into JumpCloud."
"The service could be improved incrementally to enhance programmatic access to the vault."
"Sometimes it fails to appear automatically, and you have to call it manually."
"1Password should check and alert me if my information, such as my password or email address, has been sold on the internet."
"I would improve the search engine of 1Password to make it clearer or less confusing."
"There was a functionality of the solution that was missing. I had noticed it in Beyond Trust, but not in this solution. But, recently they have incorporated something similar."
"The initial setup has room for improvement to be more straightforward."
"The initial setup was somewhat complex."
"What needs to be improved in CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault is their customer support, particularly in terms of responsiveness, willingness to help, and being more understanding. The initial setup and upgrade process for the solution is complex and can only be done by CyberArk, so this is another area for improvement."
"CyberArk definitely needs to improve user experience and reduce complexity."
"It should be easier to install. It is a comprehensive product, which makes it difficult to install. You need to have their consulting services in order to get it all installed and set up correctly because there is so much going on. It would be nice if there were an easier way to do the installation without professional services. I suspect they get a fair amount of their money from professional services. So, there is not a huge incentive."
"One area for improvement is the user interface. It needs significant enhancements."
"Transitioning from a traditional on-premises deployment to the privileged cloud has resulted in losing access to many logs and administrative tools typically available on the back end."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Users have to pay around five euros per year for the solution."
"The tool's pricing is not too cheap or expensive."
"The main problem for the tool is its licensing. I work for a really big company. When you try to develop this as a service, usually you work with leverage teams who are formed with dozens of members. You might dedicate one FTE, or less, for something, e.g., an antivirus administrator. You might have half an FTE's effort dedicated to administering the antivirus, but then you have a team of about 30 users who might access that ticket. The problem is that CyberArk eliminated the possibility of concurrent users years ago. This is a big problem for companies who work with leverage teams. You need to pay for everyone. 40 licenses are used by 20 or 30 people. This is a big problem because licenses are not precisely cheap."
"Payments have to be made on a yearly basis toward the licensing costs of the solution."
"Pricing is a problem. CyberArk is expensive compared to other products I know. It is similar to buying a German car. It comes with all the bells and whistles, but some companies may find it too expensive."
"No, I do not have any advice on the price of the product."
"The pricing for CyberArk Privileged Access Manager is quite expensive, and the pricing varies from region to region. In APAC, CyberArk Privileged Access Manager can be obtained for less than in North America, according to my understanding."
"I believe that this solution is priced well. It's the market leader and I think that it's the best solution."
"The price of the solution is reasonable."
"If you want a Ferrari, it will cost you. The solution is really nice, so it costs the client, but in the long run, it is very good. If you buy a solution that costs a lot to maintain because it is not stable, and you are frequently asking for consultant support, it costs more."
