The features of Amazon RDS that I have found most valuable and useful so far are its fully managed service, point-in-time restore, and other serverless features such as snapshots and backups, which have eased my job to manage databases.
Amazon RDS offers fully managed services, reducing database management overhead and enabling business focus. Its scalability supports multi-AZ deployments, ensuring high availability. Users appreciate swift provisioning, strong security, automated features, and data reliability. However, initial setup can be challenging due to disabled features. Migration from on-premises solutions is complex. Pricing lacks predictability, integration with Microsoft products is limited, and restricted user access hinders functionality for some clients.
