We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I like that we have many scanners and channels that don't overload. It helps us scan and track easily. Also, the tagging system is good for tagging. We can still use QualysAgent task ID tools even if tags aren't made.""Tech support is helpful.""The solution shows us classic categories, including high, medium, and low risks. It also shows critical items, and that gives us the advantage of prioritizing things.""It is quite easy to implement.""The Vulnerability Management and Patch Management features are the most valuable features of this solution.""The vulnerability management feature is what I used the most. It is a good SaaS product. It is easy to use. It has a nice UI where you can see all the assets and vulnerabilities.""The integrations for this solution are very good. I use a different product for virtual patching of vulnerabilities and Qualys integrates well with that product.""The reporting functionality is great."

"This intelligent user behavior analytics package is easy to configure and use while remaining feature filled.""The most valuable features are its data aggregation and the ability to automatically identify a number of threats, then suggest recommended actions upon them.""This is a good security product.""It is a solution that helps test and measure customer satisfaction.""The solution appears to be stable, although we haven't used it heavily.""The solution is extremely scalable. Our customers are regularly scaling up after installing Splunk.""The solution is fast, flexible, and easy to use.""The product is at the forefront of auto-remediation networking. It's great."

Cons
"If anything, I would like to see the user interface modernized a bit more.""Qualys could be improved in its overall performance compared to other vulnerability management or scanning tools.""Qualys should improve their customer experience. They need to improve the tech support experience and the turnaround time.""I would like to see this solution more developed and competitive in the Cloud space.""The solution is a bit expensive if you do not have access to discounts.""The customer support is very bad.""It is a struggle to be able to pull our report and to be able to do onboarding using automated tools.""The reporting needs improvement. It should generate much more stuff like field reports."

More Qualys VMDR Cons →

"There are occasional bugs.""Currently, a lot of network operations need improvement. We still need people to handle incidents. Our vision is to leverage status and convert it directly from the network devices. It would be ideal if we could take action using APIs and API code and remove manual processes.""In the future I would like to see simplified statistics and analytical threats.""We want to have an automated system for bot hunting that enables us to detect anomalies predictively based on historical data. It would be helpful if Splunk included process mining as an alternative option. We have a threat workflow, but it would be useful if we could supplement that with some process mining capabilities over time.""I'm not aware of any lacking features.""The correlation engine should have persistent and definable rules.""If the price was lowered and the setup process was less complex, I would consider rating it higher.""It could be easier to scale the solution if you are using it on-premise, not in the cloud."

  • "The licensing costs is around 10,000 dollars."
