Provides strong data protection with virtual patching and vulnerability assessments

Inexpensive, with good email security, but the technical support could be improved
We don't have as many problems with email security. They have some areas that could be improved. For example, we also use this solution for email encryption, which was clunky and could be improved, but the email security itself has been excellent. The web interface works well but the Outlook plug-in has been problematic. We've had to uninstall/reinstall it. On some Outlook clients (including mine), it causes Outlook to stop responding. I disabled the Outlook plug-in and only use the web interface.

"Compared to other products, Proofpoint's real-time threat intelligence makes it less noisy; they collect and share threat information effectively, which benefits all customers."
"Proofpoint Email Protection's advantage is that, when it's working properly, it tends to catch more threats as compared to other products."
"The Tap and Trap features. They are the best features."

"The solution has very strong detection for most of the phishing and malicious emails received from the outside."
"The initial setup is simple."
"The auto-remediation feature is valuable."
"We have had very good results from the use of FireEye Email Security. We are very comfortable with this technology, but I don't know if it's necessary to move into the cloud, we will check other technologies and study them. Additionally, the solution has good integration."
"The product helps reduce the number of malicious emails reaching the user's inbox."
"What I find most valuable with the solution is that it can integrate with cloud solutions, such as Google and Microsoft. Additionally, the solution is easy to use."

Cons

"Sometimes especially zero-day spam emails can be passed to the user's inbox."
"I would like the solution to be able to automatically quarantine the malicious emails before getting to the user's mailbox and continue with regular email operations. This could result in the user clicking the email before the purge operation is completed."
