Has great value for money with excellent features like unlimited cyber-attack simulation cycles, periodic assessment, and employee hack records
We have been using this tool for a while and have not faced any challenge as such. Talking about the technology, the tool is up to date. The only thing that I found lacking in the product was SIEM integration. Other than that, the tool is a complete package. The training that the tool provides is well structured and user friendly. Also, it has a highly interactive awareness content library based on the current cyber threat landscape. The tool is a versatile attack simulator with enticing template options.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Proofpoint Email Protection is the blocking capabilities, it blocks a lot of potential threats."
"I recommend all of my customers to migrate and start using Proofpoint as it is secure, minimizes risk, and eliminates phishing attacks."
"The Tap and Trap features. They are the best features."
"Its main defense is to stop malicious emails from coming through. There is a sandbox environment where you can open malicious or suspicious emails to make sure that they're not malicious, instead of taking the risk of having your employees do it. This is definitely something that everybody needs nowadays, especially with the rise in cyber attacks."
"There is no downtime."
"The most valuable feature of Proofpoint Email Protection is the central location dashboard for viewing all the related information for risk."
"The tool has improved our workflow by ensuring people receive only the emails they need for work rather than being inundated with hundreds or thousands of unnecessary emails daily."
"As a cloud-based product, it can scale well."
"This tool has great value for money with excellent features like unlimited cyber-attack simulation cycles, periodic assessment, employee hack records as well as gamified assessment."

Cons

"The email DLP portion could be a bit easier."
"The price could be improved."
"Proofpoint Email Protection could improve on the training. Every organization is different and to fine-tune it to block everything properly there needs to be better training. Sometimes it can block some of the information it shouldn't."
"Proofpoint Email Protection could improve by allowing more customization of the reports, such as exceptions and black-and-white lists."
"The solution's server console and cluster dashboard have been the same for four years so need to be upgraded."
"Integration and filtering out who you want and don't want to have integrated ID could be improved."
"The high cost of the product is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"Proofpoint has a lot of false alarms."
"The only thing that I found lacking in the product was SIEM integration. Other than that, the tool is a complete package. The training that the tool provides is well structured and user friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is on a yearly basis. Their floor for SMB doesn't matter. The user count is 100 users and below at $2,500 a year. Its cost is higher than other solutions. It is probably about 20% to 30% higher than what you would get with Microsoft. There are no additional costs. All costs are factored in. It can be improved pricing-wise so that it is affordable for the SMB market."
"We sell annual licenses for this solution."
"It is expensive."
"The licensing cost of Proofpoint Email Protection is a lot higher than other solutions, such as Barracuda."
"Annually, it costs us about $92,000. This is pretty much what it costs us. There is no additional cost."
"The solution is expensive."
"Pricing has recently been increased and the cost is a downside"
"The tool's pricing depends on the customer's preference, offering options for an annual license or a monthly subscription. The cost varies based on factors such as the number of users and specific requirements. Overall, the pricing is competitive."
