Ideal, stable, good support and it helps with the developer console
I have used MongoDB, MySQL, and Oracle. MongoDB is entirely different. It's a NoSQL platform database, so it's totally different. It is a little bit hard to work with. The way it is organized and structured is different. But between Microsoft Azure MySQL and Oracle, they are pretty similar. * Cost: Microsoft is not a preferred platform. Their licensing is very complex and expensive. Oracle is much better. * AI: In terms of data analytics and AI, Microsoft is better. Certain complex transformations are easier to do in MSSQL. So, if you have to analyze data from a lot of different data sources, it becomes much easier. However, the usage of the particular product depends on the project. Personally, I would like to work on MySQL. But in certain cases where the application scale is very large, and custom models from certain regions of the globe prefer Microsoft, then we have to go with MSSQL. But technically, there is not much difference.

"It is very easy to start working with the product."
"This is a feature-rich product and I like all of them."
"SAP HANA is one of the best databases known for its performance...The new version of the solution is stable."
"The feature I found most valuable in SAP HANA is modeling. I also like that the solution has good integration and you can integrate it with any system, even third-party systems."
"A very feature-rich solution with excellent performance."
"What I like best about SAP HANA is that it's faster than Microsoft SQL Server."
"Integration is the most valuable feature we use SAP HANA for."
"Eases management of databases."
"The UX experience is very good."

Cons

"The support is not that great. They're not really supporting directly anymore and relying on experts to figure out technical issues."
"There could be improvements, particularly in Firebird, where the indexing is limited to just a single B-tree index, leading to poor performance for large-scale queries."
"There could be more courses where the people could learn more easily how to use the tool."
"There might be minor improvements, however, I can’t identify any particular areas for improvement at the moment."
"Integrating business intelligence or NLP solutions would help us save time and would prevent us from having to take a deep dive. Data problems seem to multiply on the system when you interact with it. Automation would save a lot of man-hours."
"MySQL should have some kind of native query browser. If it could come with a built-in connector."
"The tool’s stability must be improved."
"The product has many bugs."
"The product is very demanding on memory requirements."
"Technical support should be more customer-friendly."
"I don't have direct access to SAP, and instead, I need to go through the SAP office in India."
"Per SAP, you can do both transactional and analytical processes in SAP HANA. Though that's true, the speed is slower when you combine the two functions, so this is what I'd like SAP to improve in SAP HANA. In the next release, I want to see better diagrams in SAP HANA and a more user-friendly interface."
"The relationship with a partner that sells SAP could be better. We depend much more on our own development, and the partner is for selling us the solutions, so we need them to be able to supply help and answers. The partner isn't very helpful, and we have to rely on our own knowledge and research."
"What needs improvement in SAP HANA is its automation, in particular, it needs more enhancements in that area."
"The SAP ERP processes are quite complex and it can be challenging."
"There could be better management for faster updates, last year there were some changes in India to the e-invoicing feature."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"While the core solution itself is not exorbitant, the support services are associated with a significant maintenance fee, often ranging from twenty to thirty percent."
"The license is expensive."
"It is an open-source product."
"Oracle has a better licensing model compared to its competitors."
"The solution’s paid plans are expensive."
"The product is expensive."
"The product is free since it is an open-source tool."
"We pay for a maintenance license, and the licensing cost is high. In general, it is a very expensive solution."
"We pay $200 on a monthly basis."
"SAP HANA is an expensive product."
"I would rate the pricing of the solution a ten on ten. The pricing for on-prem SAP HANA is on a yearly basis and expensive. I am not aware of the actual pricing but it is based on 64 Gigabytes. For instance, if you consider $10,000 for 64 Gigabytes, then you can calculate the cost for Terabytes in case you have one. You will have to buy expensive hardware as well which is quite a lot."
"SAP HANA is expensive, but unfortunately, we do not have any alternatives."
"SAP HANA is more expensive than other solutions."
"People who are technical will accept the cost, but financially they will assess whether this solution will bring them revenue or not. People often ask, how will I profit when the cost is so high?"
"We pay annually for the license of the solution."
