We've found it to be very good. There aren't bugs, glitches, or crashes.""Users are able to easily configure the whole solution via simple data.""Juniper's custom Trio chipset drives their MX routers, offering superior performance. Juniper's design separates the control plane and the forwarding plane, which is a key aspect of their architecture. This separation provides high throughput, maintaining line-rate performance across the MX platform.""The solution is pretty easy to set up after a bit of training.""On the SRX, the firewall is very easy to configure, especially when you want to filter out traffic."

Cons
"There must be a more easy-to-use GUI."

More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"We'd like them to be capable of adding firewall options to the license.""The initial setup is not easy.""The documentation needs to be updated to reflect the changes made in the latest update.""The solution could improve reliability and it needs more functions.""There are areas for improvement in Juniper EX Series Ethernet Switches. One aspect that could be enhanced is the pricing; many clients acknowledge the quality of Juniper switches but find the pricing challenging, especially when compared to competitors like Huawei. Additionally, from a feature perspective, there's a desire for improved clarity and ease of configuration in Juniper switches. Some users find it difficult to understand and configure certain aspects, necessitating the use of external tools. This complexity, especially for Internet service providers, can be a barrier. Addressing these concerns could further strengthen the position of Juniper switches in the market.""While it is challenging to pinpoint specific areas for enhancement, there is room for better support and updates for Ansible.""The integration could be better.""Most IT equipment now has graphical interfaces, and there is a need for the Juniper routers to have a more intuitive web interface."

More Juniper MX Series Routers Cons →

"The solution does not yet offer a SaaS version.""Technical support could be better.""The user interface could improve and they should allow a license for IBS.""The bulk efficiencies and the control of traffic could be a bit better.""MikroTik needs to add some features like IPS, mail security, or antivirus, et cetera.""Stuff that I'd like to be improved is really just training and documentation because I think the feature set is full. Another improvement I'd suggest is that their new, bigger releases should be a bit more stable.""It would be even better with a centralized management platform.""There has to be more development in the OS. It's complex for this switch as compared to others like Cisco. For NetGear and Cisco, it's easy to adapt the VLAN concept but it should be simplified for MikroTik."
