Has supported project management and business customization through strong modular flexibility
The cloud feature in IFS Cloud Platform is predominantly valuable, especially the enterprise asset management module, which IFS has very good business into, along with strong finance, project management, and supply chain management modules; these are the major modules that are performing well with IFS, and the cloud options along with user-friendly customizations for any technical developments are additional advantages. The integration of IoT with IFS Cloud Platform is performing well, enabling us to integrate with predominantly any third party through the standard inbuilt connectors that are readily available, and if we need to customize the integration, we can certainly do that too.

AI support has transformed customer loyalty and has maintained high satisfaction levels
I would recommend that Intercom Customer Communications Platform increase its database capacity to manage more than 1,000 partners, considering that each partner can send approximately 10 requests daily. When partner numbers exceed 1,000, we sometimes experience complications in quickly processing all the queries we receive. I believe Intercom Customer Communications Platform could perform better for larger companies like mine to coordinate and manage all our partners across the world. The second suggestion concerns the complexity of pricing. Intercom Customer Communications Platform has very complex pricing structures. While this was not a real issue for my company, as someone interested in entrepreneurship and starting a business, Intercom Customer Communications Platform is very costly for startups and people wanting to launch businesses. If Intercom Customer Communications Platform reviews its pricing and creates plans specifically for startups, I am certain they would reach a much larger market. The integration of Intercom Customer Communications Platform is great because we have more than 100 integration options available. When it comes to user interface, it is more intuitive but somewhat difficult. When I started my job without prior CRM knowledge, it took me approximately two weeks to understand the platform and use it at full capacity. I believe they could improve the user interface by collaborating with users and gathering suggestions. I am very happy to provide this feedback to Intercom Customer Communications Platform and work with them on the user experience side to ensure the app is ready to use for people without customer management experience. I will give eight out of 10 for integrations and six out of 10 for user interface.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a nine or ten out of ten since it is an extremely scalable solution that can be used for various use cases with thousands of users."
"A high level of ERP can be handled in IFS."
"The solution is very good."
"IFS Applications' best feature is the user-friendly interface that has a .NET Framework application in the front end and an Oracle database and WebLogic middleware."
"The workflow of the solution is very good."
"Individual user profiles that can be configured as templates to minimize data entry."
"There are fewer fields on the user screen compared to other products. This makes the UI a little bit easier to understand."
"When it comes to financing, the solution has helped us to concentrate finance functions like accounting processes in one system. This includes about 70 internal entities around the world."
"Intercom Customer Communications Platform has played a key role in customer loyalty, trust building, and market reach."
"The feature we appreciate most about the Intercom Customer Communications Platform is the messenger functionality, allowing users to have conversations without entering their details repeatedly."
"The live chat is pretty good because you can create a macro, which is a predefined input we can give customers."
"With Zendesk, we have much more signals that we could use to understand better our client patterns."

Cons

"The customer service is not good as expected but we can say its fair."
"The initial implementation was more complex than expected."
"The product requires heavy administrative work."
"The pricing could be a bit better. It's a little high."
"Sometimes from the sales perspective, clients don't always fully understand how large a task or a project they're getting involved in when they decide, "We're going to switch across to IFS." They could probably do a little bit more, maybe around preparing people for these projects."
"The integration is a bit complex, and post-implementation support services need to be improved."
"The integration is a bit complex, and post-implementation support services need to be improved. They have a service center based out of Sri Lanka. The support aspect is good, but the response time is a little slower than we anticipated. In the next release, it would be better if Warehouse Management could be improvised. They have a product line that's a data warehouse management system, but it's still premature and requires a bit of enhancement."
"The initial setup or implementation was a little more complex than I expected."
"The problem with Intercom Customer Communications Platform was a little bit of the implementation. It was complicated to use to actually get the automations and everything."
"It would be beneficial if there was a way to train the AI to better understand customer language."
"Intercom Customer Communications Platform has very complex pricing structures and is very costly for startups and people wanting to launch businesses."
"Sometimes, the solution lags and takes time to update something."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"There's an additional yearly cost for support."
"The additional cost that comes with the solution includes the overhead of the people who are trying to fix the tool issues. These people are trying to reproduce the issue and report it to the technical support and testing with them which is huge. It is the cost of quality in the end."
"I consider it to be a well-priced solution compared to other mid-range or high-end ERP solutions."
"IFS Applications are competitive in terms of pricing compared to other vendors, such as SAP, Oracle, and Epicor. They are generally cheaper, especially for licensing costs."
"Pricing is an area that could be improved. They could be more competitive."
"The pricing of the solution may appear to be expensive for smaller companies with only tens of users; however, for larger and mid-size industrial companies, IFS is able to win deals and the pricing is competitive in the market."
"IFS Applications is expensive software, but it's on par with SAP and Oracle. It's for large enterprises and government entities and not for small and medium-sized enterprises. They have one licensing model, but if you want to have a module-specific license, they provide component-based licenses. Unlike SAP and Oracle, it doesn't have different levels of licensing. It's one level of licensing."
"Compared to SAP, the pricing for IFS Applications was very affordable. People using the solution would find that it's worth the money."
