Good interface, and an easy initial setup with good community support on the free version

The customization should be improved. We should be able to diversify the machine for AWS. When we get involved with that right now, it becomes very bad. Some areas of configuration didn't work for us. The solution should offer more speed and should be able to stabilize the database environment. We've tried to do this, but it hasn't been solid. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If we want to do an interceptor, what we need is a really high level of TT programming or a specific configuration to be able to scale it out. It works to some extent, but it's not strong. When it does not implement in our center we have to go and manually fix it. The solution should be able to better scale the number of users, especially when you're using the cloud. The solution should extend better into the Microsoft community and companies should be able to run it on Azure Cloud.

Have faced limitations due to high costs but have maintained reliability over time

The primary issue is the pricing, which is very expensive for my company's budget. We cannot afford to pay such a large fee. We are not Microsoft or BMW; we are a small company. As a small company, I have no power to negotiate directly with VMware. Perhaps larger companies have more opportunity to contract directly with VMware, but I do not have that leverage. The only path I can follow is to change solutions. Net.spA is a company working in the field of waste management. We are not a technological company, so we do not have a large margin to justify purchasing and maintaining the VMware infrastructure at current costs.

A normal server request would come in, it could take anywhere from three to four days to deploy and now within 15 minutes they can click and have something up and running. IT support for developers is nice as well because they are able to manage the environment themselves."

"Troubleshooting is one of the most valuable features for us. It identifies problems that other monitoring solutions are giving us, offers us insight into the problem and then digs into it and finds out what the actual problems are and addresses them."
