Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The solution has good performance.""It's an ideal gateway solution for small and medium businesses, i.e., around 300 devices can be easily handled."

More Netgate TNSR Pros →

"I think the solution is highly scalable.""The most valuable feature is the single pane of glass, single point of management.""Remote connectivity is its most valuable feature.""The setup for FortiClient is really straightforward.""It seems to be more scalable than we thought.""The product is user-friendly.""The solution's TNA feature blocks devices from entering the network that do not meet compliance protocols.""The integration of VPN services with endpoint security is valuable."

More Fortinet FortiClient Pros →

"The technical support team provides good services and faster response times."

More Ivanti Tunnel Pros →

Cons
"There must be a more easy-to-use GUI."

More Netgate TNSR Cons →

"They have an EDR feature for end protection detection and response, and this is actually with an add-on subscription, which is charged separately. What I would like to see is this included with the base cost.""Technical support is awful. Their online response time is not prompt. They should not respond after four or five days. Their support guys are not competent enough. Small issues are taking time.""While we like patch management, it would be nice if it could handle patch management for other solutions, like Microsoft.""I have yet to find the benefits of the latest upgraded version.""We'd like to be able to properly encrypt the data more effectively.""There isn't much to improve in terms of features and comparison with other vendors. It just needs to stay more up to date in catching the malware. The user interface may be improved, which would be a minor enhancement. Unlike central management, in endpoint security, the end users don't need to keep looking at the endpoint user interface. The technology is the most important thing in endpoint security.""With the lower-end licenses, it tends to kick you out after eight hours. There is a function where it automatically kicks you out after eight hours. They could improve that and not kick you out after eight hours. Other than that, it is already pretty good.""Sometimes there are issues when we are trying to connect."

Maintaining user privacy is critical to the success of any mobile enterprise. But user privacy isn’t just limited to personal apps and content on the device; it extends to the network as well. That means IT must be able to secure traffic from enterprise apps without capturing personal traffic, such as a user posting a family photo on Facebook. As a result, protecting employee privacy requires IT to move beyond device-wide VPNs to more secure, intelligent, and granular app VPNs.
