Efficient file restoration with rapid incremental backups and potential for better reporting
I suggest improvements in the time it takes to restore data. Also, the reports we can generate have limited features. There is a limitation in the advanced reporting features, such as understanding how many files are in the backup, which users are actively using it, and how many files have been backed up properly.

The capability and the functionality of the features are very helpful for us

Pros

"The most valuable feature of Druva is that it can detect changes in files or laptops and perform incremental backups."
"Incorporating non-disruptive testing capability in disaster recovery procedures has significantly benefited the overall recovery testing processes."
"I would rate the ease of setting up and configuring my recovery plan in VMware SRM, a ten out of ten, with ten being the easiest."
"The most valuable feature is the automation, where you press a button and everything fails over seamlessly."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is the integration part, along with the subsequent hardware."
"The solution is strong when it comes to protection and analytics, with the latter being added later on."
"Automated recovery is one good feature, SRM also offers simplified management. It has a centralized interface for configuring, testing, and executing disaster recovery plans across multiple sites. This means management from a single point, even for many sites."
"VMware SRM's most valuable features are its convenience and its use of stretched clusters."
"In terms of resiliency, the most valuable aspect of SRM has been its effectiveness."

Cons

"I suggest improvements in the time it takes to restore data."
"They can improve their product quality for Salesforce as they don't have the capability to run that business without Technobind."
"I suggest improvements in the time it takes to restore data."
"It has a lot of dependencies on VMware infrastructure, and testing can be complex. Testing often requires extensive approval at the organizational level."
"In my opinion, the integration with Peer Persistent Storage could be improved."
"There needs to be better stability during heavy capacity in future releases."
"This product is not appropriate for those moving to a broader cloud footprint."
"The two vCenters have to be synchronized, which sometimes gives us problems because Keberos does not tolerate more than five minutes in time difference."
"The pricing structure is pretty expensive, especially after the recent changes, and it's important for the cost to be justified based on the features used in production."
"It would be ideal if they added advanced analytics or AI to the solution."
"I would like to see better integration with other storage solutions. I would hope to see that within the next two or three years."
