We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"All of CybeReady's features are valuable. They work together and complement each other. The campaigns, and the training behind the specific campaigns, are the starting point. But the Continuous Awareness Bites program is also very important. They share what the correct behavior should have been for our users who clicked on a link or downloaded an attachment during a phishing campaign.""Overall, it broadens the way people engage with security across the board because they are used to being told off and that they are not doing the right sort of things. Whereas, CybeReady really helped move that conversation forward into a positive lens, allowing people to see how they can take part and their role within security. Also, that it's okay, because this is training, a learning point, how you can continue, how you can cope, and how you move forward. This really helps build people's confidence in recognizing phishing, understanding what it is, and how to cope with it, all of which are important.""The product automatically adapts to users and how adept they are at spotting phishing emails. If somebody is doing very well and is not clicking on the phishing simulation emails, then it will send them emails that are harder to spot.""CybeReady's 'phishing' emails manipulate you to open an email. If you do open the email, you are forwarded to a tip that explains how you should behave and how to recognize a phishing email. This is one of the main features of the training provided.""CybeReady has this uncanny ability to fit its simulations to reality. The simulations that CybeReady prepares are refreshed on a monthly basis... They could be news-related, for example, related to COVID, or elections. They might be related to the time of the year, such as taxes or bonus payments and the like... It's evolving to what it's seeing out there, but in a good way."

"The solution has very strong detection for most of the phishing and malicious emails received from the outside.""The solution offers very good flexibility. You can blacklist or whitelist with ease.""The solution blocks malicious emails containing viruses and malware and reduces them out of spam.""The solution is very user-friendly.""The most valuable feature is the ability to remove bad messages that were delivered, prior to being classified as unwanted.""It is a very scalable solution.""Its anti-phishing functionality is the most valuable. Certainly, the biggest problem I have is phishing.""Proofpoint Email Protection offers an additional layer of protection compared to other brands like Microsoft, Mimecast, and Barracuda. While these major companies excel at detecting malicious attachments, the solution goes further by analyzing the context of emails, allowing for more nuanced decision-making."

Cons
"The area where we could probably use more attention is the involvement of CybeReady with us. It would help if a technical account manager were more actively reaching out and making sure that we are using the tool to its full potential.""CybeReady is still getting used to working with really big companies, which is the category that we are in.""One area that might be improved is making their emails more visually attractive to make them more convincing. It might depend on the email relay in the organization. Maybe it's cutting out some of the features that come with the email. I don't know if it's their problem or our problem, but sometimes the emails don't look convincing enough.""One point that CybeReady could improve on is... the people assigned to each client to help the client correctly interpret the KPIs. In our case, we were not so happy with the person that was assigned to us. She didn't provide much more for us than we saw ourselves.""We have the generic reporting that comes out so we can download that at any time or at the end of the three month campaign. So, we have two generic reports. If we could section up the data in multiple, different ways, then we could create a report from that instead of just those two options. That would be helpful."

More CybeReady Cons →

"The stability and UI are the two areas of the solution with certain shortcomings that need improvement.""Sometimes it detects false positives.""The solution could lower its price.""Proofpoint Email Protection could improve the Mail Trace feature and make navigation easier.""Integration for reporting needs to be improved, it's too complex.""The solution could be improved with the addition of PLP and email encryption features.""Integration and filtering out who you want and don't want to have integrated ID could be improved.""It has too many screens. It is kind of a conglomeration of products. In other words, they built product A, product B, and product C, and they are yet to integrate them into a single administrative console. I would certainly like to see a more seamless administrative interface. I would also like to see them include more bang for the buck, by including features like email fraud protection, rather than making their product so piecemeal, where you are buying little pieces. I agree with the idea of having multiple tiers or layers, but maybe as small, medium, and large, as opposed to an a la carte menu."

Proofpoint Email Protection is a machine learning email gateway that catches both known and unknown threats. Through Target Attack Protection, emails will be analyzed and potentially blocked from advanced threats while users gain visibility around these threats. The technology can also classify various types of email and can be deployed both on premises or as a cloud service. In addition, users can tag suspicious emails to help raise user awareness and track down any email quickly.

Proofpoint Email Protection offers Advanced BEC Defense, which can precisely detect and block different types of emails, even if they don’t involve a malicious payload, such as business email compromise (BEC). Email Protection, which is powered by NexusAI, is a sophisticated detection technique developed to stop a variety of kinds of email fraud from affecting compromised accounts. It’s specifically designed to analyze message components, such as the sender’s IP address (including reputation and x-originating IP), the message header, and the message body. Using machine learning and AI, it will then determine if that message is a BEC threat.

    Benefits of Proofpoint Email Protection

Proofpoint Email Protection is a favorite for organizations looking to utilize their cybersecurity budget accurately, and provides the user with incredible visibility. While preventing email fraud, the technology can also detect and block advanced malware as well as identifying possible risks.

Email Protection offers many benefits, including:

    • Email warning tag - Raise user awareness and reduce the risk of possible compromises by automatically tagging suspicious emails.

    • Gain granular control of unwanted email - Gain control over low-priority emails through granular email filtering, which can pinpoint gray mail, like newsletters and bulk mail.

    • Multi-layered detection - Defend against continuous evolving threats with reputation and content analysis. Email Protection offers a dynamic classification of various emails, including malware, spam, phishing, imposter threats, and bulk email.

    • Smart search - Track down an email based on dozens of search criteria in seconds. Smart search also provides the ability to trace where emails came from.

    Reviews from Real Users
