Centralized monitoring has transformed telecom troubleshooting and now reduces downtime proactively
Coralogix works well for our needs, but there are a few areas where improvements can be made. One area is querying performance for large-scale data sets. When we are dealing with very high log volumes, some complex queries take time to return results. Improving query speed and optimization would enhance the troubleshooting experience. Another point is the learning curve for advanced features. While basic usage is straightforward, advanced querying and dashboard configurations can take time for new users we are onboarding. We have faced this situation in our organization's domain frequently. More simplified UI options or guided templates would help new team members onboard faster. Additionally, dashboard customization flexibility needs improvement. Although dashboards are useful, having more flexibility in customization would make them even more powerful. An important point is cost optimization. Since log volume is high in our environment, better visibility and control over cost optimization would be beneficial. These are minor improvements overall. Coralogix already provides strong capabilities for centralized logging and monitoring, but enhancing these areas would make it even more efficient for large-scale environments in our telecom servers. Improvements could include query performance, alert noise reduction, and ease of use for advanced features, especially for large-scale environments like ours.

Customization options need improvement but valuable threat management features and reasonable pricing benefit service providers
We are a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), and we provide services to our customers Seceon Open Threat Management Platform offers valuable features such as XDR and EDR. I also find the SOC and SOAR features valuable. Log management is another key functionality of the product. There are…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The solution offers very good convenience filtering."
"Support is great; they are helpful and responsive, and they are the greatest support team that I ever worked with, especially in comparison with AWS support’s premium tier where Coralogix is a few times better than even AWS support."
"Numerous data monitoring tools are available, but Coralogix somehow fine-tunes our policies and effectively supports our teams."
"The best feature of this solution allows us to correlate logs, metrics and traces."
"The solution is easy to use and to start with."
"Others looking into using Coralogix can trust it and can adopt it because it is good enough to use, with costs also being less than competitors."
"I have worked on multiple logging systems, and I would say Coralogix was the best among those."
"The overall stability and reliability of Coralogix are excellent, and I rarely encounter issues."
"The solution is very cost-effective compared to Splunk and LogRhythm."
"The pricing of Seceon Open Threat Management Platform is very reasonable."
"The algorithm used in Seceon OTM is clear and logical, categorizing events as needed. This helps us identify and respond to threats effectively."
"Seceon Open Threat Management Platform provides a more straightforward implementation that is better than Splunk and offers an AI-based platform with machine learning and deep learning capabilities."
"It offers a holistic approach with multiple solutions blended into one platform."
"It is effective because it has threat intelligence from across the world and constantly checks and updates for new threats."
"The main thing is the value proposition. It is one of the most sophisticated yet affordable solutions that I've come across. It is also one of the easiest-to-manage yet comprehensive solutions for a SOC analyst. Its customizations are really good, and it has a lot of integrations. It is multi-tenant and very fast to onboard. Its stability is 100%. We've never had an outage with it. It doesn't require extensive hardware resources. Its level of support is also very good. They have a very responsive technical team."
"We only recently started using Seceon, so we aren't taking advantage of all its features yet. We have enabled some proactive alerts about utilization and bottlenecks from high traffic."

Cons

"In terms of documentation, I think there can be more user-friendly documentation that stresses more on day-to-day issues."
"I see room for improvement in Coralogix regarding the cost, as they can reduce the costs for the license."
"Coralogix should have some AI capabilities to auto-detect anomalies and provide suggestions. The increasing volume of data and the resulting bandwidth charges are concerns."
"The user interface could be more intuitive and explanatory."
"The documentation of the tool could be improved"
"The main pain issue for me with Coralogix was that the syntax was a little tricky."
"The only improvement I remember is that the cost aspect is a bit more tedious."
"We have asked the company to auto-revert the changes after a while so that the system works typically. We want it to work at what it is expected to work at and not really based on the updated configuration which one developer has decided to change."
"Seceon Open Threat Management Platform sells some add-ons as part of the whole suite but not individually. If they sold them individually, they could potentially attract more business."
"It would be ideal with the processing was more manageable. Not many customers are willing to have a dedicated server with two CPUs and one TB of memory. The cost of this is huge for a smaller organization."
"Certain features, such as DLP, need to be improved as they are superficial and not in-depth."
"It would be ideal with the processing was more manageable."
"The SOP they provided wasn't great. They offered training over Sherp Virtualization, and the Seceon leadership visited our location to explain everything in detail, but the documentation and training could be better. It isn't as effective as it could be. There's some room for improvement there."
"For future releases, integrating incident response tools and improving communication on incident reporting could be beneficial."
"The product could be improved by including sandboxing capabilities in the next release."
"It would be better if they offered global coverage."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We are paying roughly $5,000 a month."
"The cost of the solution is per volume of data ingested."
"Currently, we are at a very minimal cost, which is around $400 per month since we have reduced our usage. Initially, we were at $900 per month."
"The platform has a reasonable cost. I rate the pricing a three out of ten."
"We used the solution's trial version for two months and later purchased it."
"Seceon Open Threat Management Platform is cost-effective because it's a comprehensive platform that offers high availability."
"I find Seceon OTM's pricing to be reasonable, not too high or low, just okay for the market standards. I can't disclose specific figures, we pay on a quarterly basis under a service model. I would rate it eight out of ten. As a customer, I always hope for better pricing options."
"The pricing is very competitive. It's not expensive."
"The solution is cheap and very competitive. It offers good tuning in terms of the pricing. Other solutions like Palo Alto and IBM are more expensive."
"It has a per-asset model instead of an ingestion-based model, which gives predictable pricing. In terms of price, it is in the middle to lower range of SIEMs that it competes against. It is the most affordable solution that we have implemented so far. It was much more affordable than anything else I've implemented."
"The price is quite reasonable."
