Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Stronger cloud security posture has reduced misconfigurations and simplifies compliance checks
The best features of Cloudanix are security posture management and monitoring cloud assets, reviewing security alerts, and tracking compliance across the Azure environment. The most valuable feature for my team is the security posture management capability. This provides a clear view of misconfigurations and security risks across the cloud environment, and it prioritizes them based on their potential impact. This helps us focus on the most critical issues instead of manually reviewing everything. Cloudanix has a positive impact by improving overall cloud security visibility and reducing the time needed to identify and remediate security issues. This has helped us respond faster to misconfigurations, strengthen the security posture, and reduce the operational effort required for cloud governance. I can provide rough metrics, though not internal metrics. The time required to identify and remediate cloud misconfiguration has been reduced by almost 40 to 50%. This is because it automatically prioritizes the highest-risk findings. We also reduced the amount of manual effort spent on compliance reviews and security checks, allowing the team to focus on higher-value work.

Compliance automation has transformed audits and now frees teams to focus on healthcare innovation
I would say that not too much can be improved, but definitely a few things can enhance Sprinto and that will have a good impact on the upcoming customers or the clients that are going to opt Sprinto as their choice. One of the sectors could be the reporting side. Although it has a good reporting platform, I still feel that daily tracking or some complex level of reports we need to share with the leadership team. In that case, we can enhance the reporting and its UI look and feel a little bit more. On a usability side, sometimes occasionally if something weird is happening on the cloud services or on the network side, it may send us an alert, then we get to know that it may be a kind of false or ghost alert. Then we need to check out with the service cloud provider as there might be some glitch or delay. A more robust retry logic mechanism that automatically refreshes its functioning can help a little bit more. Although it is working well for the Windows and Mac OS users on a very mature level, things can still be enhanced for the Linux or mobile support users, just to diversify the engineering over there.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Since it is based on the cloud, it is a highly scalable product. It is easy to deploy, has a very good UI, and the bots can be easily deployed with no issues."
"I don't think one feature is more valuable than any other. In my opinion, the value is in the totality of the platform. It is easy to use for our developers with a well laid out UI and many canned tools. The Control Room is very easy to navigate and mostly intuitive to use."
"Our experience with technical support at Automation Anywhere has been great. They have been very helpful, especially during the PoC, processes which are sort of early on in their sales cycle, or when we were just starting with Automation Anywhere a couple of years ago. We got great support for getting it onboarded in-house and getting our team up to speed. So, we have found it to be a great partnership."
"We have leveraged automation to increase economies of scale and value-added work while reducing operating costs."
"We automated one process that was running with 109 people and reduced it down to 69 with automation."
"We are able to satisfy our clients in ways that we did not think was possible."
"We have more than 50 bots in the company, the FTE and ROI are very good, and in the future we have many projects in pipeline that we are about to implement, so definitely there is a good ROI and FTE savings for us."
"I'd say there are new useful features that will definitely help us as we do more development in the near future."
"Choosing Cloudanix has proven very efficient and intuitive, and it remains easy to handle compared to other products available in the market."
"Cloudanix has a positive impact by improving overall cloud security visibility and reducing the time needed to identify and remediate security issues."
"Sprinto has positively impacted my organization by saving a lot of time, and how much is difficult to say."
"Sprinto has impacted our organization very positively by streamlining compliance management, reducing audit preparation effort, improving visibility into our security controls, and ensuring ongoing compliance rather than treating audits as a one-time project."
"The best features Sprinto offers are that it saves time and manual effort, reduces audit preparation stress, and a lot of manual work during audits, which improves our visibility and compliance status and enhances our security."
"In every IT sector or domain, compliance auditing plays a vital role, and it has literally helped us in a very good sense, up to leveraging its capabilities to a high level, providing paperless work, generating the reports quickly, having the auditing compliance things in place, checking out if all systems are following all standard best practices or not, sending out alerts, notifications, and other key metrics already in place."
"Sprinto is a very good tool with no need for improvements."
"Specific outcomes since using Sprinto include reduced audit preparation effort by approximately 50 to 60%, significantly reduced manual evidence collection, faster remediation of compliance gaps, and improved visibility into compliance status across the organization."
"Sprinto has positively impacted our organization by helping us to obtain certificates like ISO, which has allowed our organization to reach out to customers and acquire new clients."

Cons

"The vendor should increase the training and other engagements with users before they acquire the platform, as this will simplify its usage further and ensure that there no hindrances in using the platform."
"IQ Bot is bad and needs a lot of tweaking."
"Debugging can be particularly tricky; identifying the exact reasons for bot failures can be time-consuming."
"However, there is a problem that arises with accuracy in the newer version."
"Since Automation Anywhere's Japan office was only recently opened, it seems the support has not been as good as support for other package applications."
"There are a number of current tools which can be improved because they have many limitations. Like some better controls in emails, and better support for features in Excel and PDF."
"There is an issue with the object cloning in Excel. OCR is also not that stable. Image recognition works fine, but not all the time."
"Anything that can be done to simplify the solution. I would love to see it where anybody who can run Excel will be able to create bots. Right now, I am watching everyone around me struggle with the tool."
"Cloudanix could improve by addressing the limitations in terms of customization."
"It could be more user-friendly."
"I chose a rating of nine out of ten because it offers quite a good UI experience, but I am concerned about some bugs on the UI side."
"On a usability side, sometimes occasionally if something weird is happening on the cloud services or on the network side, it may send us an alert, then we get to know that it may be a kind of false or ghost alert."
"More customizable compliance reports could be improved in Sprinto, and additional integration with security and DevOps tools could be added."
"More customizable compliance reports, additional integration with security and DevOps tools, enhanced security scoring and prioritization, and more advanced automated remediation recommendations would be beneficial."
"There are a couple of things that didn't work for me that well."
"There is one area for improvement. We have different tools for DPDP and other certifications related to auditing that we cannot configure in Sprinto."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"As our team size increases, we may get some more licenses for the tool."
"The starting price, which is a one-off fee is a bit high and this may deter mid and small-sized companies from acquiring and decide to shun the platform."
"I do not know the price, but I am told that it is cheaper than UiPath."
"If I compare it with Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere is cheaper. Blue Prism is very costly. Automation Anywhere's pricing follows the market, not less and not more."
"We only deal in annual licenses. There are no pay-as-you-go licenses."
"I would rate the cost an eight out of ten, with ten being the highest cost."
"When I started working on it, it was difficult to obtain a trial version (barrier to entry). Now, they have a Community Edition, which may make it easy to get started."
"The price is very reasonable."
