Enable secure development workflows while identifying opportunities for faster scans and improved AI guidance
Checkmarx One is a very strong platform, but there are several areas where it can improve to support modern DevSecOps workflows even better. For example, better real-time developer guidance is needed. The IDE plugin should offer richer AI-powered auto-fixes similar to SNYK Code or GitHub Copilot Security, as current guidance is good but not deeply contextual for large-scale enterprise codebases. This matters because it reduces developer friction and accelerates shift-left adoption. More transparency control over the correlation engines is another need. The correlation engine is powerful but not fully transparent. Users want to understand why vulnerabilities were correlated or de-prioritized, which helps AppSec teams trust the prioritization logic. Faster SAST scan and more language coverage is needed since SAST scan can still be slow for very large mono-repos and there is limited deep support for new language frameworks like Rust and Go, along with advanced coverage for serverless-specific frameworks. This matters because large organizations want sub-minute scans in CI/CD as cloud-native ecosystems evolve fast. A strong API security module is another area for enhancement. API security scanning could be improved with active testing, API discovery, full Swagger, OpenAPI, drift detection, and schema-based fuzzing. This is important as API attacks are one of the biggest AppSec risks in 2025. Checkmarx One is strong, but I see a few areas for improvement including faster SAST scanning for large mono-repos, deeper language framework support, more transparent correlation logic, and stronger API security that includes discovery and runtime context. The IDE plugin could offer more AI-assisted fixes, and the SBOM lifecycle tracking can evolve further. Enhancing integration with SIEM and SOAR would also make enterprise adoption smoother, and these improvements would help developers and AppSec teams move faster with more accuracy.

Compliance workflows have become faster and audit renewals are completed with strong MFA support
Sprinto offers several valuable features. It provides very good authentication capabilities, and the support team consistently supports us with any requirements we have. They support us anytime we send emails, and any doubts we have are addressed through weekly scheduled calls. They support us from the beginning to the end of the process, and the support team is excellent. For example, in GCP, when a user enables MFA but it does not display in their system due to configuration issues, we send an email and the support team immediately connects with us to resolve the issue. After that resolution, we have not faced that issue until now, so they support us very well. Sprinto has positively impacted our organization because we have completed the ISO and SOC 2 renewal for the fourth time and are continuing with the same tool for an extended period. Specific outcomes and metrics related to ISO and SOC 2 renewals show that Sprinto provides a fast process with excellent support. When we have time, we resolve issues quickly, and they also help us by providing tips to complete ISO and SOC 2 renewals. Sprinto is a very good tool with no need for improvements.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It moved our organization towards being agile vs. waterfall."
"It is very easy to insert the tool in the SDLC because there are a wide variety of ways to access the source-code, initiate scans, and review the results."
"It allows for SAST scanning of uncompiled code. Further, it natively integrates with all key repos formats (Git, TFS, SVN, Perforce, etc)."
"The solution has good performance, it is able to compute in 10 to 15 minutes."
"The most valuable feature of Checkmarx is the user interface, it is very easy to use. We do not need to configure anything, we only have to scan to see the results."
"Checkmarx is a nice, pleasant, and relatively easy company to work with."
"The only thing I like is that Checkmarx does not need to compile."
"The most valuable feature of Checkmarx are the automation and information that it provides in the reports."
"The best features Sprinto offers are that it saves time and manual effort, reduces audit preparation stress, and a lot of manual work during audits, which improves our visibility and compliance status and enhances our security."
"Sprinto is a very good tool with no need for improvements."

Cons

"C, C++, VB and T-SQL are not supported by this product. Although, C and C++ were advertised as being supported."
"The cost per user is high and should be reduced."
"Dynamic testing. If it had that feature I would have liked to see more consideration of framework validations that we don't have to duplicate. These flags are false positives."
"Vulnerability details: Reduce false positive results and improve it by providing more details how I can resolve the vulnerability."
"We had to lock the number of CPUs used to not crash the Checkmarx Audit."
"It is an expensive solution."
"Integration into the SDLC (i.e. support for last version of SonarQube) could be added."
"We have received some feedback from our customers who are receiving a large number of false positives."
"There is one area for improvement. We have different tools for DPDP and other certifications related to auditing that we cannot configure in Sprinto."
"It could be more user-friendly."
