We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"With Anaconda Navigator, we have been able to use multiple IDEs such as JupyterLab, Jupyter Notebook, Spyder, Visual Studio Code, and RStudio in one place. The platform-agnostic package manager, "Conda", makes life easy when it comes to managing and installing packages.""The product is responsive, sleek and has a beautiful interface that is pleasant to use. It helps users to easily share code.""It's interesting. It's user friendly. That's what makes it outstanding among the others. It has a collection of R, Python, and others. Their platform strategy has a collection of many other visualization tools, apart from Spyder and RStudio, which is really helpful for data science. For any data science professional, Anaconda is really handy. It has almost all the tools for data science.""The most valuable feature is the set of libraries that are used to support the functionality that we require.""The notebook feature is an improvement over RStudio.""The best part of Anaconda is the media distribution that comes as part of it. It gets us started very quickly.""I can use Anaconda for non-heavy tasks.""The most advantageous feature is the logic building."

"If you correctly use the product for your use cases, it provides value for money.""E-T-L, The Extract, Transform, and Loading capabilities of QlikView make it a highly sophisticated self-service business intelligence tool for developers and analysts.""The integration with Salesforce has helped us gain access to crucial sales data in real-time.""This is a very cool application with endless options of creativity and visuals.""The user interface and dashboards are very good.""It is a stable product.""Scripting as per a customer's need, which is a pretty cool feature and not available in other tools.""Its ability to build, very quickly, very complicated models."

Cons
"Anaconda can't handle heavy workloads.""One thing that hurts the product is that the company is not doing more to advertise it as a solution and make it more well known.""When you install Anaconda for the first time, it's really difficult to update it.""I think better documentation or a step-by-step guide for installation would help, especially for on-premise users.""It crashes once in a while. In case of a reboot or something unexpected, the unseen code part will get diminished, and it relatively takes longer than other applications when a reboot is happening. They can improve in these areas. They can also bring some database software. They have software for analytics and virtualization. However, they don't have any software for the database.""The solution would benefit from offering more automation.""The interface could be improved. Other solutions, like Visual Studio, have much better UI.""I think that the framework can be improved to make it easier for people to discover and use things on their own."

More Anaconda Cons →

"Syntax editor needs some work, it's frustrating to have valid syntax being flagged as incorrect.""It is really old. We are moving towards converting everything into a Power BI environment. We want to have a self-service type of BI environment where different levels of users in organizations can log onto a portal and retrieve the data they need or get the necessary insights for decision-making that's important for them or their business unit. They have built a new version of QlikView called QlikSense, which probably competes with newer BI tools, such as Power BI, but they are far behind. That's why we are moving towards a newer tool that's easier to use and has more visualizations to represent the data.""There is a lack of static PDF report generation and automatic resizing of the dashboard to fit the device.""Sometimes, dealing with complex reports requires more effort, which could be really improved.""Though the initial setup phase is simple, when it comes to the integration with the custom systems, the configuration and the compatibility sometimes take some more time.""QlikView certainly lacks in its ability to share visualizations or create visualizations easily.""There is no automation or drag and drop functionality.""Error handling."

Top Answer:QlikView is more expensive than SAP Crystal Reports. It could be improved. I rate the pricing a five out of ten.
Top Answer:QlikView's UI could be more user-friendly. At present, I encounter difficulties while writing complex queries on the UI. It doesn't support the query button as well.
