Identifies and analyzes performance issues quickly using in-built AI and ML
With Alluvio AppResponse, there is an in-built analytical analysis with AI and ML, which identifies and provides data such as the number of TCP retransmits, web access time, total connection time out, total connections established, and server-side errors. The RTCC response time composition chart is crucial because it helps pinpoint the issue's origin, whether from the server, network, or application side. It's a superb product when compared to SolarWinds SAM, which is agent-based, while Alluvio AppResponse captures all traffic from the core switch.

Reporting features improve operational efficiency while weekend support needs enhancement
Support is moderate and needs improvement, especially during weekends when technicians perform upgrades. During weekends, they need to provide more support to ensure a smooth transition. There is a call for ManageEngine OpManager to scale better in automation and AI functionality. Although the product stability is good, support enhancement is necessary to enable better planning for upgrades and maintenance activities.

"Some of the most valuable features are the accessibility of the solution and the fact that it is simpler than other products, and discovering devices in the network is very simple, making it user-friendly."

Cons

"The AI features should be addressed in respect of the analysis and intelligence that must be supported and delivered in the tool to predigest the large amounts of data."
"The pricing is on the higher side of things. If they could lower it, that would be ideal."
"They need to better integrate with products and solutions from different vendors."
"Integration between NPM and APM solutions would improve efficiency. There is no agent on the server site related to AppResponse."
"The recent changes in corporate structure may have caused some decrease in support quality."
"Marketing is complex and not well understood, so often this product is not considered a good fit just for a surface look."
"The AI features should be addressed in respect of the analysis and intelligence that must be supported and delivered in the tool to predigest the large amounts of data."

"WMI and SNMP integration with the domain controller should be seamless"
"The pricing of the solution is high. They should work to adjust the pricing model to see if they can help reduce costs."
"It would be great if there were some sort of artificial intelligence feature which would help us make improvements in the network once we find an issue, and do it automatically."
"The main drawback is there is less documentation available, both public documentation and partner-available documentation."
"I would like to see more enhancements made to the product."
"There should be an option to get mobile notifications or SMS mirror notifications for critical issues."
"There are some concerns with the recording performance of ManageEngine OpManager. It does not offer accurate monitoring when compared to SolarWinds."
