We performed a comparison between 360 Safeguard and TitanHQ SpamTitan based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out in this report how the two Anti-Malware Tools solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."What I found most valuable in 360 Safeguard is its VPN feature. I support remote sites, so I use a VPN."
"I like that it's stable and easy to access."
"The product's initial setup was very straightforward."
"If it can stop all the garbage from getting through, then it is definitely a time saver. It is more protecting our employees than anything. We just want to make sure that we can do everything that we can do to try and prevent people from clicking on bad stuff or having to deal with bad stuff. It is easier to prevent it from coming into the network."
"Another good feature, related to geo-blocking, is the ability to specify exemptions. We discovered that some of our customers, even though they are located in Canada, have an Exchange Server sitting in Japan or in the Netherlands. It seems they have branches or their head office in other countries. Having this exception feature is helpful."
"One of the most valuable features is that it's very straightforward. It's a really simple interface. With our previous products, you could spend a week, if not more, training on those products just to figure out the interface. With SpamTitan it took an hour or two or three, tops."
"The encryption feature seems to be the most useful. We didn't have a convenient option for it previously, and having the capability to encrypt from within the message nearly seamlessly is a benefit to us."
"The spam filtering is the most valuable part. When we first started using it, 15 years ago, there weren't many solutions that worked well, were user-friendly, and powerful."
"We have had no cases of malware slipping through since we have had SpamTitan."
"The granularity of the setup is most valuable. It has all the features we need from global settings to per-user settings. We are pretty happy with it."
"We have absolutely seen ROI. The regained productivity hours that we were able to claim since we automated the email protection have been really good. Our team of three people has seen an increase in our productivity, by around 30%, since implementing SpamTitan."
"In 360 Safeguard, there is something called the menu or advanced menu support, a process that I find to be a little bit awkward."
"It could be more secure and compatible with other software."
"The web center in 360 Safeguard could be better, so this is its area for improvement. 360 Safeguard could be more scalable, especially for big businesses."
"The way it rates what is spam and what is not spam can be improved, although that is true with every system."
"The stability of SpamTitan is equivalent to other email security solutions that I have previously used. Some of them have more bells and whistles that you can add. For example, inside the email subject line, you can put in the words encrypt secret, or secure. Then, it will automatically secure that email and send an email to the person who is supposed to receive it. They can identify it for themselves in a series of different Q&A questions. That is sometimes a deciding factor for clients."
"If they had a little more documentation explaining how to use regex, or if they could include that inside of the cloud interface so that it generates regex code based on the parameters you input, that would be a lot more useful for people who aren't familiar with coding languages and HTML."
"They need to keep up with the latest technology and add new features as they arise, e.g., artificial intelligence, new and improved updated lists, or new ways of tracking spam. They need to just keep up so the product is effective. Because, if all of a sudden viruses or spam starts getting through, then we might have to look at something else. However, so far, it has kept up and done a great job. So, we are happy."
"The solution is very slow, it crashes and we have difficulties getting emails."
"The interface is a little dated aesthetically. I know that's a small thing, but it could use a little bit of a facelift."
"The inter mailbox email flow needs improvement. If you are in the same domain, it does not have the capability to transfer one email to the same domain through SpamTitan. They need an API for Office 365 which is currently being developed"
"There is no plugin for Outlook, which might be of an advantage so that you can just click on a link in Outlook that takes you right to your quarantine list. It doesn't have that at the moment."
