One of the best features of AWS Certificate Manager is its automatic certificate renewal, which eliminates a major operational burden. Another important feature is its seamless integration with AWS services like ALB, CloudFront, and API Gateway, making it very easy to enable HTTPS. Out of all features, automatic renewal is the most valuable for me because it removes the risk of downtime caused by expired certificates. In production systems, even a small oversight in certificate renewal can cause major outages, so this feature adds a lot of reliability. Overall, AWS Certificate Manager is very easy to use and the DNS validation process is smooth, especially when using Route 53. AWS Certificate Manager has had a clear positive impact on our organization by improving both security and operational efficiency. It ensured that all applications are consistently secured with HTTPS while reducing manual effort. We have also avoided multiple potential outages due to expired certificates, which was a risk earlier when certificates were managed manually. In that sense, it improved both reliability and compliance.
