My use case with GoAnywhere MFT differs from organization to organization. In my previous organization, the purpose of using GoAnywhere MFT was multiple—specifically, they were using it for automating user file transfers, which includes securely storing files that had to be protected. The system provides a folder in encrypted format, and the files at rest would also be encrypted, meaning only the authorized personnel can access and download them. In addition to this, there was a secure mail feature in GoAnywhere MFT that allowed transferring files of any size through email.

However, in my current organization, they primarily use it just for file transfers without storing the files.

The biggest improvement I've seen since using GoAnywhere MFT for three to four years is in security; control over our network security is the biggest factor to consider, and the solution automatically identifies and blocks attempts to attack our system. Additionally, the transfer speed is impressive; even if files are in GBs, it doesn't take much time to transfer, increasing our organization's efficiency significantly.

In my opinion, the best feature of GoAnywhere MFT is its user-friendly UI; it's very simple to use compared to other managed file transfer tools such as MOVEit and Axway, which are a bit more complicated.

While we don't use any connectors for services such as Salesforce, SharePoint Online, or MS365, GoAnywhere MFT does have the capability of connecting to these systems either through SFTP, HTTPS protocols, or API-based connections. The way it works here is different; we set up a resource-based connection to connect to various services such as SAP or Salesforce.

The range of connectors that GoAnywhere MFT provides out of the box is quite extensive; it covers everything from legacy tools that support AS2 connections to the latest services such as AWS and Azure Blobs.

I'm very satisfied with the connectivity options available in GoAnywhere MFT; they include everything you can think of, and as long as the system you want to connect to accepts connections, we can connect using AS2, AS4, and other cloud connectors.

In relation to the agents, they are crucial for extending MFT automation to remote systems. I've noticed that in my previous organization, agents were not used as we connected via network shares, which led to occasional connectivity issues. Now, using agents increases the file transfer speed by about 20 to 30%, and they provide a more stable connection compared to legacy network shares.

We are using GoAnywhere MFT primarily for transferring files. These are reports from banks and from our vendors who conduct research for us, such as food counts in stores and other data. We transfer it for our Finance Department and BI team so they can generate additional reports for our management. 

We don't have many projects compared to other customers, however, it amounts to approximately 50 different jobs running during the day.

The product has a lot of benefits. For example, it allows us to automate a lot of processes.

Our use case involves using it for data transfer and the files that we are moving in and out for the external vendors that we have for the US-based clients such as Vanguard, IVR, and other things that we have.

We use the GoAnywhere MFT agent, which helps extend MFT automation to remote systems. External vendors that have automation on their side can keep their files in the agents we install, making transfers simple and hassle-free.

We used Secure Forms for one project, specifically for UPS file transfers where we created forms and had the integration done for the external vendor for SFTP.

The best features of GoAnywhere MFT include the data transfer they provided for the Cloud Connectors regarding the SharePoint connector, where previously it would be a single file transfer, but now it includes multi-file transfers in a single operation. With the integration that they developed with the Cloud Connector configuration version introduced in May this year, I was satisfied with the integrations we developed, and that was a good feature I could see.

Aside from the connectors and integration, we had the agents installed for external vendors, which allows for long-range data transfers and the accommodation of large files for single transfer. This setup is hassle-free and ensures data safety. It also includes some security features such as encryption and decryption, improving security features in this tool.

This solution has improved my organization significantly. Previously, the integration we had was with SOAP-based connectors and other integration tools that were hard to develop in a couple of months. With the introduction of the tool, the vendors that came in were satisfied with the solutions provided, and file transfers were easy, creating a robust solution. Any simple changes from their side take less time and cost, making it a genuine tool for our clients in our US company.

Using Secure Forms has positively affected our operations. Previously, we had single SFTP transfers, but introducing Secure Forms allowed us to handle many files in a single operation. When end users fill out and submit requests via web clients, it creates a hassle-free and easy way for us to work.

We use GoAnywhere MFT for managed file transfer, secure mail feature, and SFTP. It serves as our SFTP system.

We utilize the GoAnywhere Agent, which allows us to connect internally to our network. It functions similarly to a VPN tunnel. With the cloud version, there is minimal maintenance involved, including no need to worry about security certificate updates.

Overall, it's been a good product for us, and I'm very happy with the support. There is also the ease of administration. You don't have to be a coding expert or anything like that to be able to create complex managed file transfer jobs.

GoAnywhere MFT streamlines, automates, and simplifies the secure file transfer process, helping to reduce the manual efforts and repetitive tasks of file transfer, which tends to be cost-effective and time-saving.

GoAnywhere MFT always keeps me in compliance with data security requirements, such as global data protection regulations (GDPR). 

Some of the connectors that I have used or integrated GoAnywhere MFT with include Box, Microsoft SharePoint, and Google Drive. While integrating this product, GoAnywhere MFT simplifies the process of transferring files securely. I am satisfied with the range of out-of-the-box connectors. 

I use the GoFast feature to accelerate data transmission. The GoFast feature helps me speed up the exchange of data and improves the process of exchanging data.

I use GoAnywhere MFT mainly to manage file transfers and to move data around the business. We have various teams and we use it to move data around. 

We use it for encryption, we use it to send bank files to the bank through an encrypted channel, we use it to send data to the DMV, and we use it to send data to law firms. 

We grant access to law firms to download their data whenever they need it, and basically, we use it to share information across various networks.

Previously, data transfers used to be manual, where somebody grabbed a file, encrypted it, and shared it. Now we create a project, tell it where the files are located, where they need to go, what the file name should be, and we schedule that on our third-party application called IBM Tivoli, which takes care of the process. That's pretty neat.

We are using the GoAnywhere MFT platform. As a security analyst working in the managed SOC environment, it helps with a compliance-centric, auditable, and secure approach to manage file transfers. We are enforcing encryption while transferring the data, as we have compliance in place. We handle the MSSP SOC services for our customers, and for that, we used to share the raw logs, payloads, and incident reports via email earlier. Currently, we are utilizing GoAnywhere MFT, and via the same platform, we are using encrypted standards such as PGP, SFTP, and FTPS protocols for file transferring, which is much safer now. We have also integrated it with our QRadar SIEM solution.

We have integrated GoAnywhere MFT with Microsoft 365. We can store these documents over the portal, and our use case is mainly to automate secure, independent data exchange for our customers and monitor the partners' file transfer activities. Some of our customers have the SIEM solution with us, and we integrated with QRadar to monitor their file transfer activities, and we have related some alerts to respond to unauthorized or suspicious file transfer attempts, ensuring our ISO audits and GDPR compliance.

We only have Microsoft integration. We have all the files in the centralized repository. All the actions are being recorded in the portal itself, and the solution is quite handy for us and for our analysts. Whenever a customer requires data in the early stages of an incident, we have that handy within minutes, so all the reports are transferred to the customers within minutes, making the data readily available.

The GoFast feature has been quite handy for us and our analysts. This high-speed data transfer protocol is designed for larger files across internal networks, and it has been working in SharePoint for us. It provides resumable transfers, allowing us to resume any data transfer that gets stuck due to network fluctuations.

It provides a central space for managing all file transfer activities. We seamlessly integrate it with our other software that we use, which ensures the security and efficiency of data movement. 

In my role as a customer care manager, we deal with many customers, so sometimes we request sensitive documents. Instead of using email, which is not as protected as GoAnywhere MFT, we have set up a portal where they can share the document. As a manager, I have to direct a specific team to deal with that document, which prevents the leakage of sensitive customer information.

Handling file transfers is efficient and accurate, which enhances our business processes by minimizing human error and improving accuracy, ultimately reducing costs. Additionally, it provides a significant level of automation, allowing us to manage numerous tasks automatically. Without this automation in place, we would need to handle these tasks manually, which increases the risk of errors.

Moreover, this automation saves us time, enabling us to concentrate on other important tasks. For example, in my department, where I manage numerous customers, eliminating the need for manual task execution allows us to focus more effectively on customer support. It has saved us about 80% of time.

It facilitates better collaboration by ensuring that files are shared securely and efficiently among our team members, especially when dealing with large files and folder transfers. There is always seamless workflow automation across all departments.
