My main use case for Power BI Embedded Analytics is that in my day-to-day work, I use Power Query to prepare data and Power BI Embedded Analytics Desktop, spending my time all day to create visuals, visualize data, summarize the data, and generate insights for decision-making while managing Power BI Embedded Analytics service for security. A specific example of a report that I built using Power BI Embedded Analytics is when I import data from a PostgreSQL database, model the data to have a star model, visualize the data with an eight-page report, and publish it in Power BI Embedded Analytics service so that my direction and stakeholders can see and interact with the report.
I use Power BI Embedded Analytics for various purposes including reporting, dashboarding, supply chain management, daily management dashboards, and profitability analytics dashboards for finance. I use the real-time and near real-time dashboard embedding feature of Power BI Embedded Analytics for analytics that are more operational in nature, although real-time reporting is for different use cases that are not part of my profile.
