There are some options for licensing. I think usually the licenses are valid for three years, but in my country we only have the option of a one-year license. The license is gauged on the requirements and the controller. There is a basic license and an advanced license, which offers more protection for antiviruses, like web category filtering.

Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall is reasonable, it is priced the same as other firewalls.

The license is based on the number of clients behind the web gateway. If you increase the number of agents, the license will cost more.

We have just a subscription for the cloud, and this license is great. The license is so good.

It could be cheaper like Fortinet.

The licensing is perpetual. The cost is fair, but it could be improved.

This is an expensive product compared to Fortinet, however, it is cheaper than Palo Alto. That said, I can't speak to exact pricing. A different team manages the sales and licensing aspects.

The pricing should be more competitive against other vendors in the market. We are looking at putting firewalls across all of our locations and want to get a better price so that we can do so. This would be great because we would like to have the same firewall at all of our locations.

We have found the price could be reduced. It is a little expensive.

Everything in Forcepoint comes with an individual license, which is kind of a problem. In our last meeting, they said that it may change at the beginning of 2021, and they will try to merge some licenses together. Customers will get more features than what they got previously. We will wait and see.

I believe the licensing fee is for one year, three years, and five years, or something like that. If you want to increase the support level from a simpler level to platinum, I think that there's a cost. There are differences between every kind of support, but I don't know the numbers.

This is not a very expensive solution. The big advantage of this solution is that we can select the right model for our requirements, which is not too expensive. There are many hardware models and different appliances. We have a license for an unlimited number of users because it is necessary for our solution. If it were not unlimited then we would have a problem. This is probably dependent on the appliance model.

Hi all, I just want to understand the below requirements about Forcepoint Next-Generation Firewall: As per the below bullets, I am able to assume that my client requires two firewalls with the HA configuration. However, I don't understand about (N+1) clustering with up to 6 nodes in a cluster. The firewall shall be configured in active-active. Configuration and horizontal scaling with N...
