Protects cloud-based workloads with antivirus and traffic analysis
Pros and Cons
  • "It will read various logs, diagnose what is wrong, and then alert you."
  • "In the future, we may need to use features that are only available in one of the competing products."

What is our primary use case?

This is a cloud-based solution that monitors and protects architecture. To protect a VM you need to install an agent on it.

What is most valuable?

This solution provides antivirus and can analyze and classify cloud traffic. It will read various logs, diagnose what is wrong, and then alert you.

What needs improvement?

In the future, we may need to use features that are only available in one of the competing products.

For how long have I used the solution?

We are currently conducting a POC with this solution, and have been using it for two months.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

This solution is stable, and the agent we are installing is pretty lightweight. It is not causing any issues on the machine.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The availability of the solution is taken care of by Symantec, so it is pretty scalable.

How are customer service and support?

We have not contacted technical support.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?

We tried another solution for the cloud, but it was causing performance issues. This is the reason that we are conducting this POC.

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup of this solution is pretty straightforward. It is a cloud solution, so we don't need to deploy. We just needed to create our content and then start.

What other advice do I have?

This is a very good tool for cloud protection. It covers workloads on platforms like Azure and Google. During my POC, I haven't faced any performance-related issues. As of now, whatever we have needed, this product has. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
