Great topic subscription monitoring, helpful management, and useful for audits
Addition of more monitoring features to Azure Cosmos DB can be a huge help as we use the same as the main database for our applications. One more thing to note is that their support team was always ready to clear all our doubts regarding the product but we feel that it would be much appreciated if they could share with us the required resources to get new customers like us well-versed in traversing through different modules of the product. These are the very few areas where Serverless360 can be improved.

Have faced limitations due to high costs but have maintained reliability over time
The primary issue is the pricing, which is very expensive for my company's budget. We cannot afford to pay such a large fee. We are not Microsoft or BMW; we are a small company. As a small company, I have no power to negotiate directly with VMware. Perhaps larger companies have more opportunity to contract directly with VMware, but I do not have that leverage. The only path I can follow is to change solutions. Net.spA is a company working in the field of waste management. We are not a technological company, so we do not have a large margin to justify purchasing and maintaining the VMware infrastructure at current costs.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"It offers all the core capabilities we need to manage and monitor our Azure services."
"Serverless360 transformed the way our organizations manage Azure and hybrid integrations."
"Service Bus topic subscription monitoring turned out to be the most useful for us."
"That is exactly where Serverless360 helped us by bringing in both Service Bus management and monitoring under the same hood."
"The scalability options are quite good with VMware vRealize Operations (vROps), and all of the features are useful and relevant to us."
"Using a single pane of glass, we can view what is causing the issue."
"Deployment was pretty quick."
"If they're heavily invested in the vSphere product line, vROps is definitely a product they can't go without."
"We can detect when, for example, one host is getting hit by a lot of VMs and we can take care of that host. It enables us to add more memory, more CPU, or maybe we just replace the host."
"If you have all the core pieces of VMware, vROps is a no-brainer."
"One of the most valuable features is that it gives us granular insight into how the infrastructure is operating and running, down to the storage level, the hypervisor level, even the hardware level. It really gives us a deep dive into what is going on and lets us see. Instead of our having to figure it out, it figures it out for us. It is also user-friendly and intuitive."
"Technical support was excellent."

Cons

"Addition of more monitoring features to Azure Cosmos DB can be a huge help as we use the same as the main database for our applications."
"The user interface of Serveress360 could be improved a bit to make the platform even easier to use."
"I sure don't find the solution to be intuitive or user-friendly. It takes a lot of time to get familiar with the interface."
"If I could integrate with vCenter with vROps, then I could execute more things by managing vSphere from within vROps. That would be great."
"I ran into an issue before and it relates to where there was a bug, everything was red."
"Administration and growth can be improved."
"One thing I don't like is, all the scales are self-referencing. So when I get a number one, is that one out of ten, one out of a hundred? I don't know. So I can say these servers are performing ten times better than that server but I don't know where the scale goes."
"One of the things that we've been limited on is that it only monitors one cluster at a time. We're spread out all across the US. It would be nice to monitor multiple clusters from one instance. That would be the main thing we'd like to see."
"There's a lot of stuff we want to do that we can't. I would advise someone considering this solution to take classes and get a lot of information because this solution may look simple but it's a lot harder than it seems."
"This product, of course, has room for improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The product is too expensive to implement."
"Most small users don't adopt VMware Aria Operations until it's necessary. Small businesses are looking for it, too. We need more monitoring and insights, so we're analyzing solutions to help us out here. I rate the solution’s pricing a five out of ten."
"The license is a one time cost, and you pay for support on a yearly basis. It is a bit expensive, but if you consider the product support and its reliability, it's justifiable."
"The price of the solution is expensive."
"The solution is costly."
"The solution has helped to reduce the time to troubleshoot issues."
"The solution requires an annual license which is very expensive."
"As we continue to implement it across multiple environments, it reduces costs as well."
