Numerous solutions suitable for any company
I mostly work with SAP implementation projects as a project manager Implementation of a new ERP system usually does not give you immediate measurable benefits, but it helps you to evaluate how the company functions and improve internal business processes, this is where most benefits can be seen.…

Helps with budget monitoring and planning, and the self-service capabilities are beneficial
The solution helped us to send reports to donors and management. It helps with budget monitoring and planning. Such high-level objectives have been well achieved. It also helps with project tracking, monitoring, and evaluation. The reports can be tracked from the system. The planning and forecasting feature is getting better. The product's self-service capabilities have benefited our organization. We've integrated everything with our technology landscape, such as single sign-on and Azure AD. It's within our cybersecurity framework. It comes within the self-service aspect. We need to do monthly timesheets. It has had a huge positive impact on the people working on projects.

Cons

"I would like to see more integration with other partners. Some of our customers already use specific or in-house applications for their business processes. They do not want to replace those applications."
"Poor ergonomics."
"Technical support could be better."
"Pricing could be improved for preferred customers."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I rate SAP ERP's pricing a six or seven out of ten."
"The solution can cost approximately $1 million a year for maintenance for a small-size company and can grow from there. Approximately $1 million is needed for a good-size company."
"It could always be cheaper. They don't have a very easy model of licensing, but large entities would get the upper hand in negotiating the license."
"Some components are available at an additional cost, depending on the type of contract that you have."
"The licensing costs are slightly on the higher side. They need to make it more competitive."
"The solution is expensive so I rate cost a five out of ten."
"There is a license needed to use this solution."
"SAP is a bit on the costly side, but they also provide support and other things. We are paying for licenses and the use of the cloud."
"I rate the solution's pricing a five out of ten."
