Easy to deploy, good technical support, and stable
Sahi Pro can improve the transformation process. Suppose we are working in Python and we want to view our code in Python. If the conversion is available, it would be much easier for the user to support Python users, making it a better tool if it can be converted into different languages including Java Script.

Used for integration automation, user-based automation, and web automation
The solution's most valuable features are the drag-and-drop feature, keyword-driven approach, and reusability of the scripts. The solution has introduced a new feature that helps us identify objects we cannot normally identify. It gives you a fair idea of objects, resolving the object recognition issue. The solution can be used to perform different tests on different machines.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"There are many features that are very easy to use, such as the identification of commands."
"Customer service and technical support responsiveness are high. Everyone is very professional."
"It works very fine. It is fast on almost any machine, and it is also very well organized. I like its object mapping and its capability to find and interact with almost everything that exists on Windows."
"The database checkpoints detect problems which are difficult for a human resource to find."
"Complete works perfectly with CUTE. That includes all dialogues, right-click menus, or system dialogues, etc., which are handled well."
"It allows us to test both desktop and web applications."
"The solution has a very nice interface."
"The ease-of-use and quality of the overall product are above average."
"You can record your actions and play them back later."

Cons

"Sahi Pro can improve the transformation process."
"The way objects are added and used when utilizing descriptive programming could be improved. It is a little unwieldy, compared to UFT."
"The learning curve of the solution's user interface is a little high for new users."
"In SmartBear TestComplete the integration with Jenkins could be easier. Additionally, some of the controls could have better customization options. For example, if a grid is used and it contains multiple controls within it, it can be a checkbox, radio button, or any kind of control, the way the Object Spy is operating currently there is a lot of room for improvement."
"If that engine could better identify more XPaths automatically and make the process more flexible, that would be better."
"The artificial intelligence needs to be improved."
"The solution needs to extend the possibilities so that we can test on other operating systems, platforms and publications for Android as well as iOS."
"The solution needs Mac OS support. Right now, the solution has only been developed to accommodate Windows OS."
"To bring it up to a 10, I would be looking for the addition of some key functional API testing."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Sahi Pro is priced well."
"It is approximately $6,000 a year."
"Our ROI is about $10,000 a year."
"The price is less, compared to other products, such as QTP."
"It comes with a high cost."
"The solution is around $1500. Some are perpetual licenses, and some get a yearly report card."
"The licensing costs are in the range of $1,000 to $3,000."
"It costs a few hundred per year, but I am not sure. It is not at all expensive as compared to other tools."
"Buy modules on demand. If you have a four-person team and they will each automate tests only 25% of the time, it's better to buy a floating licence and share the tool during the work day."
