Quotes From Members
We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"The most valuable features are mainly the reporting side of things and the dashboard.""I like the integration with the Office tools such as Visio and Excel. The integration with Excel helped us to be able to upload data very easily. Integration with Visio helps us to be able to make changes once and have a centralized diagram. We don't have versions of the diagram. This integration with the Office tools is very useful."

"The most valuable feature is the integrated data model, so if I change the name of an item, all models using that object are automatically updated.""It provides good utilization and it's a convenient tool for building exact architectural work.""Ability to model and create view under same roof.""Sparx has got a range of modeling features, and I am comfortable with all its offering. I've used a lot of tools over the phone. I found EA Spark, probably the most feature rich product all in all compared to other products. The solution is very cost-effective and that is its best feature. It's a very good delivery architecture tool, which also has enterprise architecture capabilities, and it's got full life cycle processes and software development. So for me, it's a pretty comprehensive tool""The company has become more efficient and reduced its budget.""Features good reporting facilities coupled with a concrete database.""It is a very flexible product. It can do a lot. It is also a reliable product.""I like Sparx's BPM features and the way it lets you create the diagram."

Cons
"The refresh cycles for our dashboards could be better. I keep complaining about that. The refresh is supposed to be once a day, but I would love it if it was real-time so that if I make a change to the data in iServer, I should see those changes immediately reflected in the dashboards. They use Power BI, and it seems they've scheduled their refresh to be once a day, which is not that good for us.""We found a few issues with importing data and all the manipulation of data, especially when it came to the BI side of things because it utilized a particular template to be able to get certain reports. The user administrators could not manipulate it to get the right reports."

More OrbusInfinity Cons →

"The modeling tool is targeted toward a sophisticated user.""The solution needs to offer better support for the mobile-based system. Right now, it's not working.""The UI could be improved and made a little bit more presentable.""The Portfolio Management features can be added in the next release. As it helps you to manage more portfolio of projects and architectures of cost projects on a portfolio level. This would be an important feature in the next release.""I would like to see integration with Confluence or any other TRM, and the capability to integrate with the data storage, such as a repository similar to GitHub.""I would like the system to more "intellectually" build a scheme, place icons, and connect lines on the schemes.""It should be made Windows compatible.""When many users are accessing the system at the same time, Sparx slows down. It can't easily support a large team."
