Ensures seamless real-time alerts and smooth deployment with room for Linux functionality improvement
The licensing issue was eventually resolved by the team, but the Linux client issue persisted. Not all the policies applied to the Linux clients were as effective as those for Mac and Windows. That was somewhat of a downside for us. I cannot speak to whether they have improved this in the past two years. An area for improvement is that when a package is provided, there should be no additional elements required from the user's side. For instance, there is an activation key, and you have to specify the host where you need to redirect and fetch the license. That was disappointing when it comes to mass deployment.

Streamlined data products have empowered non‑technical teams and still require more automation
The best feature Satori offers is its simplicity for non-business and non-technical persons because all you have to do is provide inputs—the tables that you want to use as source—and then the framework does all the work. You just define the tables and what tables need to be joined. This simplicity helps my team in day-to-day work because non-technical people and product owners can actually develop data products with this streamlined pipeline without having to know how to code and without having to maintain a code base. We just maintain and enhance while they build what they want. Satori also has data quality checks that are defined by the data quality team, so we know if the data are corrupted. That is another main feature. Satori has positively impacted my organization because it's a product that has been sold to many clients and has also been used internally for some use cases that the company needed. It's one of the most successful products of the company.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"My advice for anybody who is considering this product is that it's user-friendly, and everyone can easily understand the details about how it works."
"The role-based access features for the teams that administer it is good."
"My advice for anybody who is considering this product is that if they want something to protect data on both Macs and PCs then this is a very good choice."
"The product's most valuable feature is its ability to support Linux operating systems."
"In summary, we have not faced many issues with Endpoint Protector and it is fulfilling our requirements, as we wanted."
"The versatility in terms of exit points and making sure that important data doesn't leave our organization is something that I find extremely useful."
"This is a budget-friendly solution that covers all the aspects of host-level DLP."
"In terms of the ease of deployment, the ease of management, and the ease of actually getting the basis of Endpoint Protector to move on, EPP is one of the easiest."
"Satori leads to more sales and has doubled our sales."
"Satori has positively impacted my organization by providing a solution that helps in the development of AI intelligence while protecting AI with less effort than other solutions."

Cons

"In Linux, it is difficult to control uninstallation. Users can uninstall it at any time, and we can only monitor that it is uninstalled."
"Because it is only an Endpoint Protector at this point in time, it does not have a network DLP component. There's only an endpoint DLP component. In the future, it would be good if a network DLP component could be embedded and extended to have network DLP capabilities."
"If CoSoSys comes up with a suite of Host DLP, along with Network DLP and SaaS DLP, it will cover all of the aspects of a DLP solution."
"There are times when the server needs to be updated, and it would help if I got a notification for when the newest version comes out, because at the moment, I'm going in every now and then and checking. Sometimes it comes out and I didn't know it had come out."
"It would be helpful if you could purchase a smaller number of licenses at one time."
"One of the areas where there is room for improvement is support. It takes time for them to respond."
"When we need to uninstall and reinstall on XP or Windows 10, we have serious issues left in the Registry Editor everywhere."
"I would rate the role-based access features for administrators a six out of ten. There's work to be done on the granularity of roles that can be assigned to an administrator but there is role-based administrator access present. That's why it's not a zero rating."
"Everything could potentially be improved."
"Satori can be improved by integrating CI/CD because currently we are doing it manually, which is something we need to fix."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I don't have any issue with the licensing and pricing. I would love for it to be cheaper, but at the same time I'm getting a lot from it."
"The solution’s pricing is a normal industry standard and depends on customers and salespersons."
"The pricing is very competitive and is cheaper in comparison to that of other solutions. It makes it an easy decision to go with EPP for the data loss prevention infrastructure."
"We found the pricing pretty attractive. However, volume-based pricing wasn't available."
"When I last renewed the license it was for a two-year term, and they gave me the second year at half price."
"The software comes with a higher price tag when compared to other DLP solutions."
"The product has average pricing."
"The pricing is reasonable for this particular market."
