User-friendly interface simplifies project management but it requires stable connectivity

Simple to onboard and implement, with good communication and automation features
There are 2 main areas of opportunity for PartnerStack to improve on their platform. 1. You can only merge the default tracking link into an email. As someone who is trying to engage my affiliates and or referral partners on a monthly send, if I want them driving to a different location every month, I have to manually go in and change that link, and then notify my partners via email. As opposed to having 20 links and being able to choose which one to merge into an email. It's a strategy play. If Marketing has a specific blogpost we want to drive traffic too, I have to go in and change the default link vs creating a new link, merging it into an email and sending an email to all my partners with their monthly link to share. The second piece of functionality is that they can do a lot of creative things when it comes to progression paths, managing payouts, and other such things but can't do progression paths similar to airline miles. Earn it this year and you've earned it the next year even without anymore sales, referred leads and so on. In the sense that if I earn platinum status as a partner in 2021, I keep that status in 2022 even if I don't sell or refer anymore in 2022. But in 2023 I would move to the correct tier based on my progression path efforts in 2022. That's how I prefer to do it. They don't have the capability to automate that process right now. I have to manage that piece manually, which isn't too difficult. Those are the two main areas where I believe there is room for growth. PartnerStack also includes an LMS but it's not the easier to use that is for sure.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The subitems make it crystal clear what tasks are done, in progress, or complete."
"Monday.com is the best platform for working with project organizations."
"With multiple team members working on multiple fast-moving briefs, tasks, and projects - often remotely and in different timezones - Monday.com has become our reliable source of truth to oversee and manage everything that's going on."
"You can create a group of tasks and can write down sub-tasks under each task."
"There are a lot of features and once you understand how to use them, it's quite easy to get the benefit out of them."
"Since the tool is so easy to use, our team members can all learn it quickly and create new boards, projects, tasks, and views easily."
"The UI is so smart."
"The free version provides all the utilities that I need."
"There are three main areas that I would say were the most useful, one would not necessarily be a feature, but their UI is very easy to use."
"The features that enable commission-based partner management and payment are the most valuable aspects of PartnerStack. This is undoubtedly the top priority. Additionally, their newly introduced discovery tool is impressive."

Cons

"Maybe they could improve a bit more on how to connect with other apps - especially for CRMs like Hubspot."
"We would love it if the system could communicate with our accounting system, QuickBooks."
"Speed and reliability need to be better."
"I have just started to use this solution, and there are no new features that I need at this time, but it could be more user-friendly."
"The tabs (color coding) featured is great for distinguishing different areas of our workflow."
"One thing that would be cool is if Monday had a chat feature."
"Currently, we run our accounting on Quickbooks Online and we are forced to use their reporting tools to bring out the data we want to see. I would much rather have Quickbooks integration that allows us to more seamlessly pull transactions into Monday in real-time and allow us to manipulate that data on the Monday interface."
"While I appreciate the templates, some of them are extremely complex and not as tailored to non-profit work so they required quite a bit of customizing (but worth the trouble)."
"While there have been significant advancements over the years, reporting remains an area where we constantly seek improvement in terms of both accuracy and comprehensiveness."
"The issue is that you can only merge one of the tracking links, and that is the primary tracking link."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The licensing cost is not that high for monday.com. However, if you need an implementer, the cost is high because there aren't so many monday.com professionals."
"The solution is quite inexpensive. For example, we pay $8,500 for 75 users. It's somewhere around $100 a user, approximately."
"I think monday.com's paywalls are a little too high. Some basic features are locked behind the premium subscription. Some applications they offer within their subscription model are locked in an expensive package. These applications provide functionality that would benefit small teams, but it's too much money for a startup or a small business."
"The price is reasonable for the number of users we have."
"Though I am unsure about the product's pricing plan, there is a need to make monthly payments towards the licensing costs attached to the solution, and it operates on a per-user plan."
"There are features that they're putting in the Enterprise plan that you have to pay for the Enterprise plan to use those features. The Enterprise plan is probably double or triple the Pro plan price, or it may be two and a half times. From a business standpoint, I don't like the fact that I have to pay two and a half times more to use a particular feature."
"monday.com's pricing is fair compared to its competitors, although it is a bit more expensive than most of them. It's more expensive than Jira, Zoho, ClickUp, and Trello. But it is fairly priced when you compare the kinds of features and the capabilities that you get and the ROI."
"The pricing is totally fair. I don't have any issues with it."
"The previous company paid approximately $35,000 USD per year."
"The pricing of the solution is fair. It's not the cheapest, and it's not the most expensive."
