Reviews from Real Users
Below are some reviews and helpful feedback written by PeerSpot users currently using the Mendix solution.
PeerSpot user Somnath G., Solution Architect and LowCode Practice Lead at a tech services company, says, "What I found most valuable in Mendix is that it's very much suitable for mobile apps such as native Android or IOS supported mobile apps. The multiple features of the platform are very, very attractive and very popular. Mendix has technical features such as microflows and nanoflows. You can also access data models in the platform. These are the features that are very, very strong in Mendix. I got my hands dirty on other low-code platforms, but I have not seen such strong features in them compared to the microflows, nanoflows, and data model access that are in Mendix, including creating and integration. The platform has out-of-the-box adapters or out-of-the-box-connectors that you can integrate with different interface applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle EBS, etc."
Sameer V., Consulting Manager at Deloitte, mentions, “Their native mobile capability is very good. In general, the way they launch the product has been great. Their product launching strategy is far better than any other platform. I work in OutSystems and Mendix. They tend to be more on the legacy side, OutSystems. With this solution, the product launching strategy is very, very agile. I really like when they roll out their updates, which are very, very frequent.”
Robert B., Solutions Architect at a computer software company, explains, The solution is just very quick and responsive. The initial setup is very straightforward, and those implementing the product do not have to be very technologically advanced in order to manage the process.”

Senior Software Engineer at a retailer with 5,001-10,000 employees | 4.5 | I use Mendix in business applications, particularly in industries like insurance and banking. Its valuable features include extensive support, AI integration, and scalability. I haven't needed improvements, though I'm unaware of recent updates. I chose Mendix for its market presence. |
Mendix Developer at Plieger | 4.0 | I am using Mendix to digitalize the Orbiq process and develop customer-focused applications. Its seamless integration with ERP systems and cloud-based platform enhances my development speed, although the stability and learning paths could use some improvement. |
Mendix developer at a tech vendor with 10,001+ employees | 3.5 | I automate processes using Mendix, valuing its domain model and integration capabilities. However, limited database access and data grid improvements are needed. I prefer AWS for data provisioning and transparency over Mendix's public cloud. |
Principal Solution Architect at Indium Software - Independent Software Testing Company | 4.5 | I used Mendix to develop SaaS products and internal applications, finding its extensibility with Java valuable for creating widgets. However, I prefer decoupling the front and back ends for scalability, despite Mendix's integrated approach. |
Managing Director at AgileWorks Information Systems | 4.5 | We use Mendix for diverse industries like petrochemicals and finance. Its excellent development tools are ideal for building mobile and web apps. Although refactoring and widget creation need smoother execution, Mendix excels in ease of use and industry-leading low-code capabilities. |
Simulation Engineer at a retailer with 10,001+ employees | 5.0 | I used Mendix to build specialized interfaces where other tools like MS Excel were inadequate. The support is excellent, but user feedback should guide product improvements. ROI is gauged through user experience and adaptability rather than just cost. |
