Simple to set up with helpful for cost management and good reliability
The only issue I faced was a while ago. My card was debited, or rather it was showing as debited when in actuality, it did not debit my card. After six months, they came back with back billing. Somebody should have verified the billing and immediately informed us. So yeah, However, six months is too late to identify such fault sightings. When I want to analyze the information, it would be better, since Google knows what I have used, to only show those items for analysis purposes. Especially when I look at a previous month's billing or usage across services. It's better to show the services which are used, not everything.

Gained clearer financial governance and have improved cloud cost visibility and forecasting
I do not feel that anything needs to be changed. Umbrella is solving the purpose and is on point. The UI is intuitive and user-friendly. The learning curve is very easy. The features provided are on point. There is no downtime or challenges, and it is easy to learn and easy to use. In total, I do not feel that improvement is needed as per our organizational use case. Maybe for other organizations, they might have some suggestions, but for our organization specifically, I do not feel that they are lacking somewhere. It is already providing us the best thing. Almost everything is working as we expect. Small things we do not always point out. I feel that it works well and we do not have such problems with them specifically.

Pros

"We use Google Cloud Billing to pay for or renew the license of our Google Workspace products."
"We are using Google Cloud instances and Google Cloud Functions, which are great, and we've been using BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Firebase, making it very helpful for cost management."
"It is a stable product."
"What I like most about this solution is that it's easy."
"Umbrella has positively impacted my organization because previously, we were not having any visibility on what was coming in and what was going out, and currently, with the help of Umbrella, we are able to restrict what can go out and what can come inside, which is really helpful for each and every organization, not only for us."
"Anyone who is looking for a dedicated FinOps and AI anomaly detection and forecasting platform, which is good with transparent and clear costs and is also cheap compared to other solutions, can definitely give Umbrella a try."
"Umbrella has positively impacted my organization because it has turned a different situation around; we see at least billions of traffic being protected and classified regarding what sort of traffic is going in and out."
"Umbrella has positively impacted my organization primarily in two areas: risk reduction and operational efficiency, representing the overall positive impact."
"The software itself is very helpful for companies that are into enterprise systems and helps give you a very good modeling of what your request and your mission and vision is for your company, making the process seamless and more effective."
"The job was done properly without getting into specific or complex situations, and it replied to our expectations."
"Umbrella has positively impacted our organization by blocking some of the traffic, including some of the domains that were usually being generated."
"Before using Umbrella, we had a lot of complaints about users accessing websites and malware being downloaded onto the user's device, but after using Umbrella, issues related to malware have really reduced, and we are now fully satisfied."

Cons

"Google Cloud Billing should have a more user-friendly interface."
"At times you will find that the computer engines are freezing or it's about to freeze without any notification or information and it's unable to diagnose where it is hung."
