User interface has improved navigation but demands clearer organization for consistent workflows
There is one product for operating system called Google Chrome OS Flex. Google Chrome Enterprise generally updates in the background with a button that appears for relaunching to update. The updates are frequent, occurring every two or three days. While tab history is saved, it can be inconvenient to close and reopen all tabs. When an update occurs, a button appears on Google Chrome Enterprise indicating the need to relaunch. This requires closing all Chrome windows before updating. Google Chrome Enterprise is simple to install. For Google Cloud services, installation is not necessary as services are created directly on the cloud. It is currently running on public cloud. I don't have anything deployed on other clouds, only GCP. I have rated this solution 6 out of 10.

Long-term hosting with trusted security and compliance has supported diverse web projects
LAMP Stack Debian is one of the standards of website hosting solutions and software. Apache is the lead web service in the Linux world and not only in the Linux world. It has many features, modules, security implementations, and performance capabilities. SSL mode is one of the most valuable features of LAMP Stack Debian that I find of particular importance. mod_security, mod_ssl, and mod_rewrite are all basic components and basic authorization features of LAMP Stack Debian that can help prevent unauthorized access, offering different types of security implementation based on your IP address, different headers, and tokens. I can have a huge variety of options to apply with Apache. LAMP Stack Debian allows my organization to do its work. It allows us to provide development and hosting, and to host company business portals and business websites. The whole workflow and development are tied to this. Business results from using LAMP Stack Debian include actual delivery to market of websites and PHP applications. It is absolutely trusted for the clients and different vendors, making it a well-known standard that makes it easier to proceed with any compliance checks and validations with the clients. It is easy to work with as each component of the market and business understands what this tool is, what its requirements are, and what to expect.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"When I signed up to Google Cloud, I received between 100 to 300 dollars worth of credits to explore different services, which helped me learn Google Kubernetes service, Google Cloud Run, and GCP VMs."
"The best aspects of Google Chrome Enterprise are its compatibility with everything, smooth management, and frequent security patching, which I find nice to use."
"Google Chrome's reliability is a valuable feature, providing consistent and comprehensive search results."
"This solution is user-friendly with security features detecting if there is suspicious activity on the browser. There is a lot of extensions we can use to provide us with good coverage."
"Chrome functions as a comprehensive solution due to its continuous self-evaluation and improvement. The evolution process has been significant, with a notable distance covered from its inception to the present. Notably, features like VPN support have been incorporated over time, enhancing the platform's capabilities. A distinctive feature is that users don't even need to know the Wi-Fi password; upon signing into the machine, internet connectivity is established immediately. Furthermore, the cloud storage system ensures data isn't stored locally, making it seamless for users to switch between machines. In summary, Google Chrome Enterprise is an excellent solution, particularly when there's a shortage of available manpower."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The best part of Chrome is security."
"Chrome Enterprise is really easy to deploy and manage."
"LAMP Stack Debian has impacted my organization positively because it is easy to set up and there is no cost related to licensing since the entire stack is open-source."
"LAMP Stack Debian has streamlined our operational overhead because it is highly predictable and universally respected by Linux engineers."
"LAMP Stack Debian is a very solid product, well-known, well-maintained, and very popular."
"The benefits and positive impact I have seen since starting to work with LAMP Stack Debian include cost-effectiveness, as it is open source and free with no licensing issues to handle, and I appreciate the documentation and resources available."

Cons

"There are many plugins available, which are often promoted through ads. However, there's a lack of clear information on whether they are free or if they will eventually require credit card information."
"The solution could be made cheaper."
"Google Chrome Enterprise doesn't use AI in its solution."
"Whenever I'm using the bank that is not properly working on Chrome Enterprise, I switch to Edge."
"Chromebooks are hard to find in the Indonesian market."
"The tool is not very user-friendly."
"There is a need for improved features to refine search results and narrow them down efficiently."
"You still need to have a pretty good understanding of GCP to deploy it properly."
"The primary drawback of LAMP Stack Debian's hyper-focus on stability is that the software versions in the stable repository channels for PHP, MySQL, and MariaDB packages can become outdated quickly relative to the fast-moving web ecosystems."
"LAMP Stack Debian can be improved by addressing the lack of a built-in caching mechanism."
"Regarding areas of LAMP Stack Debian that could be improved or enhanced, while it is very nice as is, one area might be the caching mechanism."
"LAMP Stack Debian sometimes has concerns about the memory usage or speed, and sometimes competitors like Nginx or Lighttpd have better results in those areas."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"So all I can say is just for us since we just recently re-upped our three-year contract for Google Education Enterprise, whatever the name is for their highest level enterprise...I found the pricing to be pretty reasonable overall."
"Google Chrome Enterprise is a medium-priced solution."
"Pricing varies significantly based on different regions and specific requirements. The cost can differ for the Euro price as opposed to the Asia-specific price. Generally, the standard pricing falls within the range of twenty-five to thirty dollars per license. This payment can be structured on a monthly or yearly basis. Opting for the yearly payment plan often comes with an added discount, either directly from Google or through negotiations with your vendor."
"We are on a monthly subscription for this solution."
"The product price is very good in my opinion."
"Yearly payments are to be made towards the licensing costs of Google Chrome Enterprise. It is not an expensive solution. I rate the solution's pricing model a six out of ten. There is a need to pay an extra cost in addition to the solution's standard licensing fees."
