The vendor is willing to work with us and develop solutions for products they did not already have an integration for.
As with any new software implementation, during the integration we found a couple of minor issues when integrating certain products (such as SCOM). However, each time this happened Evanios was very quick to identify the bug we were seeing, patch it and provide the new update set for us to install. Also, during the evaluation of Evanios we found that they already had integrations with most of our larger monitoring tools, however they also stated that they would be able to create update sets to integrate certain products we used that they did not currently support. This proved to be very valuable for us because they were able to become an even better fit for our organization by creating update sets\integrations for PRTG, Quest Foglight, TIBCO and Thousand Eyes as well.

Provides monitoring and reporting with limited features and room for dashboard improvement
I would rate scalability five out of ten. I did not use it extensively. I cannot evaluate all the components as we have a limited license, allowing us to test only a few areas. That is why I cannot rate areas with which I am not familiar. We monitor limited components with this tool and need licensing for integrating third-party components. Therefore, evaluating those areas is not possible.

Pros

"Provided up to a 90% noise reduction in some our noisy monitoring tools."
"The most valuable feature is the integration with various alert-generating systems because you might have synthetic alerts or monitoring alerts for volume drops."
"The ability to manipulate events via JavaScript getting the exact data that we want."
"The Ops center from Hitachi lets us see all storage in one place, unlike Dell and EMC, where we work on one storage."
"It was easy to set up."
"Having eyes on performance for storage through the Analyzer is valuable for me."
"It was easy to set up."

Cons

"The price could be cheaper."
"We would like the ability to have an "exit" option for events when they are being processed."
"More complex correlation rules would be nice. The ability to clearly define a parent event in a correlation and nested correlations, specifically."
"The dashboard needs improvement."
"I do not have any notes for improvement."
"Very limited people are available with resource availability in this region, and they have limited knowledge."
